Why do dogs insist on bringing their food to their pillow/bed or a soft surface?! My dogs do that. Theyll take a piece of dog food and bring it across the room and eat it on their pillow.

Maybe because they like to be nice and comfy while they eat. The same way I like to eat on the couch in front of the TV rather than at the kitchen table.

I dont know how they find it comfortable though.. they dont lay down- they stand up. They take one piece, bring it over, eat it and go back again.

My dogs don't do that too often, but when they do it's my bed they lie down and eat on :) .

Hmm...... I don't know then. Maybe they just feel more secure on their bed because it is their own little place. I had a dog that would always bring his bones and toys over by his bed.

My dog does that too... we give her food and she'll always eat it on a rug or on the carpet.

lol that's what my dog does. She has her food in the kitchen and she'll always get some and bring it into the living room and it gets all over the place.

My dog Max is really weird. I'll feed him and he grabs his entire bowl, pulls it out of the kitchen and into the living room, Then he eats it.

He's a silly puppy.
