You guys aren't gonna believe it, but yesterday it was announced that Ozzy was NOT going to be appearing at last night's Ozzfest concert because he was sick with laryngitis all this week!!!
NO!!!! WAY!!!!  :(
People were so upset!!!! But it was still great, OMG, tons of great bands, like Cradle Of Filth, check them out, but don't drag anyone from church to see them--or maybe better yet, DO IT!!!!
The lineup included:
Killswitch Engage:rock:
Shadows Fall
Nothingface was a rocking-ass band with an interesting look
Unloco I saw only a part of, because for much of their set I roamed the ground in search of pop or water or beer--it was amazing how much money I spent on beverages...it was HOT. It was a good thing I bought sunblock, it was also one of those days where it was a good idea to buy both sunscreen AND an umbrella, we had both tons of sunshine and later it even clouded it up and sprinkled a bit...wonderful Washington weather.
Endo was another great band,
Sworn Enemy
Grade 8
Depswa was also very good
Revolution Smile was a very grungy band
Motograter--OMG, there's a band to watch!! If you want a really cool band to watch in the vein of Slipknot or Mudvayne and all, they had a great look, they were all covered in this black and white paint--except for the lead singer who was all red, and they had THREE percussionists!!! Very interesting music!!
Momento had a lead singer who went into the crowd and put some kid on his shoulders and sang a song, good crowd-pleasing band, they even had a nice song dedicated to the late Dave Williams of Drowning Pool
Hotwire was a GREAT band I can tell will go far, great front man, strong songs, rocked the place down.
These were bands on the second stage, and in a second I'll mention the OTHER band that came on before Cradle of Filth, you won't believe...
