When i was younger I hated it- mainly because I didn't understand it but it's a good film- very sad too. The sequel is nowhere near as good (though I think at the minute I only have the sequel on tape) even though she was searching for her real dad and going through her history the sequel was turned into a kinda teen 'rights of passage' film. Everytime I see it on TV it's like, you have to drop what you're doing and watch it.
