she didn;'t have what it took to be a dancer. The writers could have given her a better line than-"I don't think you have what it takes to be a human being" I just feel it was a weak response to such a POWERFUL insult. Anyone Agree?

I liked the line they gave her, and I thought it was powerful. It helped make the scene very emotional. Janet was upset because of what he told her - I don't think she was in the mood to come up with a remark that would make him mad or something like that.

But she was supposed to make him mad when he insulted her dancing skills.

It didn't matter how insulting her line was, her line still got through to him as to how she was feeling.

I agree with Sean. I mean, he had just destroyed her current life's dream. I don't think she was really in the mood to think of anythink better to say. Also, her scene with Jack was SOOO sweet!! I almost cried. And did he kiss her at the end???!!!
