Still use the story that Chrissy had to take care of her sick mother and had to leave town, but not have a different girl come in as Chrissy's Cousin. Especially when she is not in none of the phone scenes with her own Cousin. They should have brung in Priscilla Barnes a year earlier to play Terri and never started the Cindy Snow nonsense. Anyone Agree?

I liked Jenilee Harrison as Cindy Snow, so I liked how they brought in her cousin. Besides, they needed a temporary fix before they could think about what to do in the long run.

I would've had Chrissy decide to stay in Fresno because she liked being in her home town, or something simple like that. At least it would give the character some closure.

Well Chrissy going home to her sick mother was closure enough. Also, they didn't need a temporary fix, just have Janet and Jack search for another roomate the last half of season 5 and they finding one in the last episode of season five which would have been the contining storyline line for the first episode of season 6.

It wasn't closure enough for me, and I know some others don't think it was either. People recover after being sick...it seems that Chrissy's mother was sick forever. The mother-is-sick thing worked temporarily, but I don't think it worked as a long-term type of thing.

Also, ABC wanted Jack and Janet to have a third roommate. That's why they did a search for another cast member. And how can a show be called Three's Company with the third roommate barely appearing? They needed someone to fill in and didn't have as much time to do it as they did with the Terri character. I personally thought Jenilee Harrison was good as Cindy - after all, Cindy didn't exactly have much of a personality on paper, which is the fault of the people behind the cameras.

Well it just seemed like they tried to make the Cindy Character apart of the Trio TOO FAST. That was the writers fault but just like last night in the episode "Night of The Ropers", why did they have the Cindy character Talking to Mr. Roper like she knew him as long as Jack and Janet.? That didn't happen with the Terri character.

Your exactly right that it didn't happen with Teri. I think the writers/producers realized their mistake of trying to integrate Cindy too fast and go on with the show. If you know notice the first few episodes with Teri its all about her getting used to living there. She brings up the subject of being the new girl more than once. I believe this was done on purpose so that everyone (including the audience) could get used to her. Also, they were able to do this because they knew at the time this was a permanent fix and that Chrissy would not be back. When Cindy moved in, it was a very rushed process and at the time the writers and producers may have thought it was temporary so they didn't bother to show the process her of her settling in and developing her character. This ended up backfiring as they were left with this klutz character that said a few sentences per episode and had no defined personality. At times she seemed smart and savvy (like when she first convinced Furley to let them pay the rent late) but other times they made her as ditzy as Chrissy.

Cindy did not remind me of Chrissy because Cindy was a Klutz and Chrissy was only Ditzy. Chrissy never knocked anything over or bumped into anything.

The thing is, is that they made Cindy ditzy a few times, to try to fill element that was now gone but for the majority of the time she wasn't. I'm trying to think of some examples but there are so few shows w her that its hard for me to remember. One example I can think of is when Jack had to pretend to be his fake twin Austin and Mr Angelino called for Jack. Cindy was like oh yeah wait a second...hes right here.
