I like him better with it. TVFactFan 07-12-2003, 10:42 AM Originally posted by Jenny No offense, to Rob, but his head kind of looks way big w/o the mustache. I like him better with it. Bu he could have been without the mustache in that episode. I just don't remember seeing him without it before I saw Bunkers Go West BTW, i recorded that two part episode Bunkers Go West the other night and quickly recorded over it because it was a boring two-parter DarleneIllyria 07-12-2003, 02:02 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer I don't recall seeing that episode. I def. remember he didn't have one in the chair ep though. Bunkers Go West is so sad to me. I start bawling right when Archie and Meathead is talking towards the end. NO Jenny-LOL, Bunkers Go West is not when Archie and Mike are talking toward the end, It's the episode when Edith, Archie and Stephanie go to California to visit Mike and Gloria for Christmas. And i remember Edith making a statement to ARchie about Mike's Mustache, She said How do you like Mike without his mustache? And also Archie askes Mike why he shaved it off and said grow it back. So That's why I thought that was the only episode Mike appeared without a mustache. Crimson and Clover 07-13-2003, 07:13 PM with, he just doesnt look right without it. wizard12 07-14-2003, 09:18 PM I like him with the mustache. I also find he looks wierd without it. Mustache all the way! :D TV Guy 07-17-2003, 12:24 AM Mike did not have his mustache in his two return appearances "California, Here We Are" and "Thanksgiving Reunion" (on "Archie Bunker's Place"). He also shaved it off early in the 7th season and was without it for a few episodes. There's an episode or two where you can see that he's growing it back. And there's one point in those 7th season episodes, right before he started appearing without it, that Rob Reiner is almost certainly wearing a fake mustache; if you take a good look at him you can tell. This happened at the same time when Mike cut his hair very short (he grew it a little longer for his final season). My guess is that he shaved it off and cut his hair for another role and they stuck a fake mustache on him for a while so he would look more like Mike. The next time N@N gets to those episodes in the rerun rotation, take a look and see what you think. dandelion wine 07-22-2003, 06:01 PM With the mustache! |
