Both actresses came from hit sitcoms and were broadway performers before we got to see them on small screen. In my opinion both actresses had similar qualities in their acting. They're both redheads. I could have seen Nancy playing Ann Romano on One Day at A Time, the character that Bonnie played. It would had been interesting seeing Bonnie playing Ted Knight's wife on Too Close for Comfort especially after the battles Nancy had with the producers on the show to have Muriel Rush more developed in character. I could not see Bonnie playing a TV wife who just stand there and be understanding like Muriel was in the first season of TCFC.
In terms of singing ability it is Nancy by a longshot. The shows that feature her singing was outstanding. Nancy Dussault have a powerful voice. Bonnie is an OK singer but a great dancer.
