ANIMAL KIDDING Has Kids and Animals Making Us Laugh More Than Usual, With Host Dave 'Full House' Coulier

SILVER SPRING, Md., July 10 -- Old MacDonald had some ... leeches? Omar the Psychic Pony knows you had pizza for dinner? The Doggie Dryer 3000 shrinks a standard poodle into a mini? Anything and everything wacky happens on ANIMAL KIDDING, a new one-hour reality series premiering on Animal Planet on Friday, July 18 from 9-10 p.m. (ET). Produced by the folks who made "Kids Say the Darndest Things," ANIMAL KIDDING mixes hidden-camera segments, light-hearted practical jokes and interviews -- all focused on the relationship between kids and all types of animal friends.
ANIMAL KIDDING is hosted by Dave Coulier, the fast-tongued "Joey Gladstone" on the popular sitcom "Full House." Coulier, also a gifted voice actor and stand-up comedian, has a special way with kids that adds to the humor of each sketch.
Fridays from 9-10 p.m. (ET), each episode captures everything from things like talking sheep at the petting zoo to a kids' round-table discussion of the purpose of a camels' hump. The debut episode gives a taste of things to come, with the following amusements:

* Psychic Pony: Two discerning five-year-olds encounter Omar the Psychic Pony. Omar not only talks, but he reads their minds. How does he do it? Will the kids make "hay" with this unusual clairvoyant?

* Lost Pets: At the Lost Pet Agency, a 9-year-old girl is enlisted to help a self-professed "gifted" sketch artist draw missing animals to help owners track them down. Trouble is, his dogs look like cats ... his frogs look like thumbs ... and as for a rat? Well! How does the young assistant respond to the artist's exasperating ways?

* Honey I Shrunk the Dog: Two boys help a pet groomer test his new invention, the "Doggie Dryer 3000." Problem is, it still has a few kinks in it. A big wet poodle went into the dryer and a tiny, dry poodle came out. Can the boys help the groomer get out of this one?

* Cowlick Commercial: Kids perform in a fake commercial with a live cow to introduce the new product "Cowlick" -- a hair gel made from the all natural ingredients of cow's saliva. Whenever Bessie the cow moos, the kids have to put a handful of gel in their hair ... and this cow likes to moo a lot.

ANIMAL KIDDING is a production of Animal Planet and LMNO Productions. For LMNO, Eric Schotz and Bill Paolantonio are executive producers and John Tessier serves as supervising producer. For Animal Planet, Alexandra Bennett serves as executive producer.
