Has anybody got the season 1 and 2 dvds?

If so please post a review with their good points and bad points

I got them, and here are my early reviews:

The Good: All the episodes are of course in order and look great! There's some trivia questions on each disk (not too hard) and some nice photos as well. The case itself is pretty nice looking, with fold outs featuring different pics of the characters.

The Bad: They don't play the beginning and ending music for each episode. They only play the opening theme at the start of each disk, then allow subsequent episodes to pick up where the music would have left off. That was a bit of a downer to me. And frankly, I can't understand the reasoning for it.

Also, in the insert they give you, it clearly mentions that Seasons 3 & 4 will be coming soon (hopefully by Christmas).

Overall it's a nice set. I picked mine up for under $30 a piece, so I'm happy.

Does anyone know if the Christmas episode where Mr. Edwards trudges through the snow to get the gifts to the girls??

If so, which DVD is it on? I can't find it anywhere....

That's the original pilot movie from 1974. I'm guessing whichever DVD it's on bills it as "the original premiere movie" or something similar.
