"Make Room for Daddy" is the sitcom with the most spin offs. It has five.

1. "The Andy Griffith Show": Andy Taylor made his first appearance on an episode of "Make Room for Daddy".

2. "The Bill Dana Show": Dana's character, Jose Jimenez, appeared on "Make Room for Daddy" as the elevator operator.

3. "Gomer Pyle, USMC": A spin off of "The Andy Griffith Show" and is the first spin off of a spin off.

4. "Mayberry, RFD": The sequel to "The Andy Griffith Show".

5. "Make Room for Granddaddy": The sequel to "Make Room for Daddy"

There's one "Make Room for Daddy" spinoff you missed: "The Joey Bishop Show". And "All in the Family" actually has more spinoffs. There were two direct spinoffs, "Maude" and "The Jeffersons". Each of those had a spinoff, "Good Times" and "Checking In", respectively. AITF then had a sequel series, "Archie Bunker's Place", which also had a spinoff, "Gloria". Then, there was "704 Hauser", which took place in the Bunker's home (and even featured appearances by Bunker grandson Joey Stivic). So, that's seven.

Oops! I stand corrected. I forgot about "Checking In" and "704 Hauser". Thanks, TV Guy!
