Ok, first off I'd like to say that I'm not trying to spread rumors here, I just wanted you guys to check this out and let me know if you're as completely confused as I am. On another Facts of Life message board at the Facts of Life site (I don't know the address, it's a link off the sitcomsonline homepage, and I've never posted there because I just think this one is better) I was just checking out the posts and someone claiming to be Lisa Whelchel's daughter posted Lisa's address, supposedly out of revenge because her mother is remarrying. You'll have to check out the message board to fully understand, but I just got completely lost and the whole thing makes no sense to me. I really doubt that this kid would go and do that, someone on the board made a good point that her parents probably wouldn't let her on the internet unsupervised. As for these "accusations" it seems to me that SOMEBODY on this board would've known about it (there are a TON of us after all) This whole thing seems a little ridiculous but I just want you guys to check it out. I'm not sure which site you are talking about, but I had heard somewhere (and I can't remember where) that Whelchel and her husband were seperating. I don't know any reasons why, how, etc... and I HIGHLY doubt that it is true. Besides, her kids are under 12 years old (She had her first in 1989, I believe). I really doubt that they would be all into TFOL Message Boards. Plus, if she is home as much as a "home-schooling mom" is (which my aunt does, also), I would think that there would be a close watch on all the kids. So, I *REALLY* doubt all that is true.

And, just so you know, I appreciate you stating that it is only a rumor. Someone reading that might have gone on every website out there and said "Blair Warner is getting Divorced!!!!" That would have gone over well... http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

I was going to say that I can't believe you are gullible to believe everything you read, TV, especially on that other message board that quite frankly doesn't have a very good reputation for quality. So I checked it out for myself and I must say that the 'daughter' seemed to give an e-mail address that seemed credible and another poster supposedly got a response from Lisa. I can't believe Lisa would respond to any e-mails from strangers that were in regards to her personal life. I'm not sure I'm buying that Jo for sure will die in the Reunion per Lisa's e-mail.

Thanks for bringing this up but I have to agree with Jayman that with Lisa homeschooling her kids, it just seems highly unlikely that one of them is posting on an internet message board. From all indications, Lisa is happily married so I will just chalk this up to just another internet rumor that is probably false.

Yeah, I'm thinking it HAS to be just a rumor, albeit and elaborate one because there appear to be more than one person in on it. Although they can probably just post multiple messages under different names. The one thing that makes me think it is completely false is so-called Haven saying you can write to her for proof but, "please don't use big words" are you kidding? Seems like a scam to me. But there were just SO MANY posts related to that topic I thought you guys might be interested in checking it out and becoming confused like the rest of us.

I just went to that site message board (cuz I post there too) and its true. Somebodys pretending to be Haven Cauble. She even posted Lisa Whelchels supposed email address and someone emailed and supposedly got a response from Lisa. That whole thing is pretty wierd.

There was someone also who claimed to get a response from Lisa who said THE RUMORS ARE TRUE!!! JO IS OING TO ONLY MAKE A CAMEO!!! OH NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just checked out that other message board. Crazy, I don't know what to think. There are a couple of people who claim to have recieved emails from Lisa. But I agree with what was stated above, why would Lisa email back a stranger? It could just be that same kid, getting a kick out of all the attention! Oh by the way, I'm Mindy Cohn's sister! I noticed, too, over on that 'other' board that they don't give the IP addresses for each poster which is done on each post over here.
