Who was your favortie director? Mine was def. Asaad Kelada, who directed most of the mid season eps. Lee Lochead directed many of the early eps and John Bowab directed early and late eps and two women ( I cant remember their names ) directed the ending episodes.... I just know this from watcing the credits so Ive probably left out a couple, but Id like to know what directors everyone else liked.!

I don't know, but I can tell you that it's not whoever did the first few seasons because some of the camera angles and stuff were just way off. I know there are some film/TV majors in here who can back me up. (I'm a film major myself, but still VERY interested in TV) the camera ops seemed very ametuer, I mean, if you notice a lot of the times the shots aren't even in focus in the first few seasons. I don't know what this has to do with directing, but I've been waiting for a topic where I could bring this up. I mean, by like season 6 it looked like a whole new show and it was just shot WAY better.

The Director you don't like, TVAddict, would be Asaad Kelada. He was house director from season 2 till the middle of season 5/season 6.

Mid season 5/Season 6 is when John Bowab became house director of the series, creating the look you liked.

The first season was potluck... no one director directed a majority of episodes.

I really have no preferance.

Two words: Asaad Kelada! The man was one of the most of the prolific sitcom directors of the 80's and one of the best!
