A date has been set for the pilot for the talk show! July 7 on TV Land:

ALF’s Hit Talk Show – TV’s popular alien makes his triumphant return to prime time, this time as host of a half-hour television talk show. Premiere episode guests include Henry Winkler, Drew Carey and Dennis Franz. Executive Producers are Paul Fusco (ALF), Burt Dubrow (The Tom Green Show, The Christopher Lowell Show, Jerry Springer).
Premieres: Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 10 p.m.

Thanks for that info. I hope the show is successful, that way, there's a good chance we'll see the Alf sitcom released on DVD. (It is HIGHLY requested on tvshowsondvd.com) Does anyone know if TV Land or Nick @ Nite have plans to air the Alf sitcom?
