I don't know, didn't seem too realistic. I think the writers copped out a bit with that and could have been more effective and persuasive. Do ICU patients even get visitors? Also, I find it hard to believe the others wouldn't visit Cap, and if Raina's gonna be there give her some stuff to do with Cap.

I didnt like how the whole situation was handled either. ICU patients can have visitors, but it depends on what's wrong with them. Since her immune system wasnt down or anything, there probably wasnt a reason she couldnt have visitors. I think Raina just told them that cuz the Cap didnt want them to see what she was going through.

I dont like Louis. A lot. Raina told him off...and i was proud of her, for once.

It wasnt what I expected either. I think Amanda should have been involved. If that had been my mother, I would have been there even if she didnt want me to. And Louis was a bit light-hearted for the occasion in my opinion. I hadnt realized how close the Captain and Raina were until this episode. I mean, I knew they were close but it just came out more in this ep. And I also find it a bit hard to believe that the other Inspectors didnt visit with the Captain. And they didnt seem too concerned about it either. I dont know. If I had written the episode I would have done it differently but thats just me.

I was expecting a big, Captain-based episode. But that's not what I got. I thought they rushed the situation and didn't make it seem real. Everything went way too fast. It just....it wasn't handled right. There should've been AT LEAST another episode before Cap agreed to surgery. Amanda should've been there. Everyone else should've visited her. She's the captain, and like Raina said, a lot of people love her.

Overall....not what I was expecting.

i was really waiting for the ending....where the cap was crying in the dark. THAT was real.

i agree with you all... the episode overall was great but it lacked alot of sentimental moments... it seems they like to rush things. I noticed that in the episode where Jinny lost John Jr.. but I guess we should realize that they are probably just emphasizing how it is being under the scrutiny of performing your job on tight schedules with tough situations.

but.... lol on the lighter note... i do have hope for the next eppi. I think they are going to feature Cap recovering after her surjery either at home or the hospital while the others on working on the case. I think the inspectors will visit her then. God knows Raina will be up her butt. :rolleyes:

hopefully there will be alot of moments to remember in the coming episode and the last couple of episodes...

Yes you are allowed visitors in ICU, but, at least here, just family...

I love their portrayal of a stroke...they did a pretty good job inititally.... sometimes it can take a while to manifest, and you only get the small signs that you don't recognize as a stroke: difficulty seeing, slight tremors when trying to perform small tasks with the hands...

It would have been very difficult, but usually if you have a stroke of that magnitude, you usually have some drooping of the facial muscles on the affected side too... one side of your mouth would probably sag...you don't speak as plainly, you tend to be easily distracted, have poor judgement and exhibit impulsive behaviors e.g. you have trouble reasoning, because those areas of the brain are affected.

But the rest of the show was good... you know, the Jin/Mag parts and the CD/Nate parts...
