Did ANYONE tape Ellen DeGeneres latest standup: here and now?
I really want to find a copy of it- I'm a real big fan of Ellen and don't want to have to wait for like a year for it to be shown on UK tv.

Peter- how can you alreayd have it on dvd when it was only on HBO last week? Maybe you've mistaken here and now for Ellen DeGeneres: The Beginning (or in the UK it's called Ellen DeGeneres Live). is the one you have the one where she talks to the audience at the end and mistakes a woman for a man. if indeed- you've somehow taped the show to a dvd recorder- I'd be interested in a trade. If it's the old ellen standup (She also did a standup a while ago for HBO- I taped it- it's a 'command performance' I think called An Audience with Ellen DeGeneres) then I already got it. I really wanna see it. her oldest HBO peformance is the one that she uses alot of the material from her album 'Taste This'.

I had it shipped in yesterday. I have a friend in LA who recorded it off of HBO onto DVD on June 28. He's also doing a number of US sitcoms not shown here in the UK.

Peter- is this DVD an american (region 1) dvd or UK (region 2) DVD? Also can you copy dvd or even transfer to video or something or record audio to the net?

Which Ellen episodes do you need and I'll go hunting through the collection- I've got all the eps, all I need to do is find my episode guide! No commercials ok? (I suppose no commercials is good now- cos all adverts are crap in the UK). I've got only VHS of ellen- at the end of the year though I should have a dvd-recorder to put them onto dvd- videos wear down real quick- while discs dont.

Just post a list of the ellen episodes you need then.

Is this ******* Johnnyangel the latest troublemaker that goes to all the sitcom fan messageboards and badmouths EVERY sitcom in existence? Maybe he should be reported before he does a rainman. Johnnyangel- if you're going to critiscise someone- at least spell their name right (degeneris?). Besides- Ellen is one of the best entertainers in the world.

Nope I am not "rainman" nor do I come on board(s) to bash every entertainer either.

Ellen is hardly the one of the worlds greatest entertainers, though.

Johnnyangel- usually when someone on the boards doesn't like what someone else likes- they don't critiscise them as obscenely as you did. They either shut up or say I'm not really a big fan or 'never heard of the show' or make a joke about it. In your case- I think the first option- since this post is only to do with trading tapes about ellen whom you don't like.

Besides- have you got something against lesbians?
