What would the show be like if it came back for another season.

Sam, Carla, Norm, and Cliff would definately still be at Cheers.
Woody will still be there, just not as much.
Lilith may be there as well.
Frasier would be off in Seattle.
And Rebecca would be a newlywed.

Do you think Rebecca should stay on the show, with Don as a co-star, or have her written out and have a new waitress join the cast??

Would you like Paul to join the cast, or maybe even Phil?

What new characters would you like to see become a part of Cheers?

i'm glad they didn't have a 12 season. It would have completely killed the show. There are so many shows out there that don't know when to quit while they are ahead and it could have been a good show but in the end it just runs out of steam and they cancel it..it's actually kind of sad. Cheers quit while they were at the top! and I am glad they did, it was so incredibly graceful and it gave the show, the writers, and actors so much credibility. How many shows can honestly say that they have been on for 11 years, minus and plus a few main character changes, and additions for the cast...and still be as funny as episode 1?

Im talking more about a perfect world were Cheers would never go bad.

Im thinking more of, over the 12th season, what happened to these characters.

Is there any new bar-flys?
Is Rebecca still going strong with Don, this is more like a fan-fic than anything.

I was just wondering what other people think should happen to these characters over the next few "seasons" or years.

But remember everything that occurs on Frasier has to be taken into account.

Then my response to that is my fanfic, lol the only reason I wrote it is because that's what I would want to happen in Cheers

i know!!!! one show besides cheers comes to mind but they only had 9 seasons not 11. it was seinfeld, they just kept getting funnier even though they peaked at seasons 4-8

well, if they were gonna make a season 12, they wouldnt have had the last ep. of season 11 like that, so alot of that stuff wouldnt have happened, like diane coming back, frasier leaving, etc, etc.

right now, i think rebecca would have stayed, w/ don as first listed in the ending credits or something (like Eddie lebec). but about a yr ago (actually, over a yr ago) i made these up:

Cheers - Season 12

Cast:
Woody Harrelson - Huckleberry Woodrow "Woody" Tiberius Boyd
Rhea Perlman - Carla Victoria Angelina Teresa Apollonia Lozupone Tortelli LeBec
Kirstie Alley - Rebecca Howe Santry
John Ratzenberger - Clifford C. Clavin Jr.
Kelsey Grammer - Dr. Frasier W. Crane
Bebe Neuwirth - Dr. Lilith Sternin
And George Wendt - Norman Peterson

Recurring Cast:
Kelly Gaines Boyd - Jackie Swanson
Tom Berenger - Don Santry
Mr. Gaines - Richard Doyle
Esther "Ma" Clavin - Frances Sternhagen
Vera Peterson(Voice) - Bernadette Birkett
Gary - Robert Desiderio
Frederick Crane - Christopher/Kevin Graves
John Allen Hill - Keene Curtis
Phil - Phil Perlman
Paul - Paul Wilson
Steve - Steve Giannelli
Tim - Tim Cunningham
Alan - Alan Koss
Robin Colcord(One Episode) - Roger Rees

The 12th year of "Cheers" opens with the bar under new management again. His name: Woody. After he got all of his campaign money, Woody decided to buy Cheers from the big corporation Rebecca worked for. Once he realizes he can't be a city councilman AND run a bar, he quits the government job, as is back at Cheers. However, since it's Woody, Frasier suggests that he gets help. Woody contacts Rebecca, who says she wants nothing to do with the bar anymore since she's married, but Woody says some things that convince her to come back. So what happened to Sam? During the season 11 finale, Sam realized that Cheers was his one true love...or was it? Remember Diane had returned too, and once he started pondering that question, he ran after her. It turns out, when he got to California, Diane had quit her writing career temporarily to travel around the world, and Sam decided to chase her down. Nope, Sam's not coming back this time(remember season 6?). Anyway, Rebecca, as mentioned before, is Woody's assistant manager. The reason she's really doing it is because she thinks Woody WAY too naive for the business world. Kelly pops in every so often, pregnant w/ Woody Jr. Carla stays a waitress, glad she has a nice boss for once. Cliff is still hanging around with his annoying trivia, constantly bloating about the promotion he got last season! Frasier AND Lilith are also back, with their marriage even rockier than before, and poor Fredrick stuck in the middle, with no clue what all the yelling's about. Last but not least, Norm...he's still at his stool, with eNORMous tab, and also still with his job at City Hall. Everyone was kinda shocked what Sam did at first, but it subsided, as they realized there's nothing they can do about it. The main focus of the show has changed too, as Sam has left. While the show was originally about Sam running the bar while trying to get Diane or Rebecca, Woody has no love interest in the show, nor does anyone else...we think. Throughout the season, Carla seems to get more and more human, even being nice to Cliff! Why? We find out in the finale of the season that she's in love with a "normal" man named Randy Rinelli. Most of the original writers are back, hoping to make the most of this season. Yeah, this season is a drastic take-off from the first 11, but the creators say it's for the best. Several interesting storylines for this season include: Kelly going into labor while running the bar alone(everyone else was busy with Woody trying to win a contest in the back room); Ma Clavin leaving for a man she falls in love with, which breaks Cliff's heart; Mr. Gaines constantly surveilling his daughter's and Woody's every move; Vera actually threating to break up with Norm(turns out shes jealous because of his great, new job); Gary still pulling pranks; John Hill, now nagging Woody(who doesn't know he's being nagged at all); Fredrick spending more and more time in the bar(how does this turn out?); and Robin Colcord returns for one episode...entering the office as Rebecca and Don are kissing. Note: In the NBC/syndicated/N@N opening themes, Bebe was credited, but in syndication, she was not.

Cheers - Season 13
Cast:
Woody Harrelson - Huckleberry Woodrow "Woody" Tiberius Boyd
Kelly Gaines Boyd - Jackie Swanson
Kirstie Alley - Rebecca Howe Santry
Rhea Perlman - Carla Victoria Angelina Teresa Apollonia Lozupone Tortelli LeBec
David Paymer - Stan Orwell (also played "Phil Schumacher" in episodes 4.24-4.26)
John Ratzenberger - Clifford C. Clavin Jr.
Tom Berenger - Don Santry
And George Wendt - Norman Peterson

Recurring Cast:
Eric Allan Kramer - Randy Rinelli (also played "Rudy" in episode 8.5)
Mr. Gaines - Richard Doyle
Vera Peterson - Bernadette Birkett
Gary - Robert Desiderio
Frederick Crane - Christopher/Kevin Graves
John Allen Hill - Keene Curtis
Phil - Phil Perlman
Paul - Paul Wilson
Steve - Steve Giannelli
Tim - Tim Cunningham
Alan - Alan Koss
Dan - Daniel Padolsky

Stan Orwell comes into Cheers in this season's premiere as a rundown lowlife, or as Carla calls him, "a man." Woody, feeling sorry for him, lets him have the bar for all the money he has, which is only $3. As you can guess, he didn't get Rebecca's permission on this, and she was pretty mad. However, Stan knows nothing about running a business, let alone a bar, so technically, Woody and Rebecca run it as before while Stan gets the money. Carla calls it "old times" because she has a boss that she hates, again. Rebecca is now Woody's AND Stan's advisor, and overall, still runs the place. Of course, Cliff and Norm are still guzzling beer at the bar, both keeping their prominent jobs. Lilith leaves Frasier between this season and the last, so she is gone. Frasier, heart-broken, also leaves Boston, and heads over to Europe to look back on life. Carla's boyfriend is also a recurring character in this season. No word on Sam. No one's heard from him in almost a year! There is actually one episode where the gang calls the police, searching for him. They don't find him, but find out he's been seen in Asia, so he's still alive. The main cast included Kelly and Don this season, as well as Stan. Episode ideas include: Vera showing up(Yes, we see her face!), feeling like a low life to Norm and his job. There's still a good joke though: they're never in the bar at the same time, they keep missing each other; Gary decides to do the ULTIMATE prank since the bar is in such disarray; and John Hill is on his death bed...and decides to leave Melville's to Carla, which she hands over to Stan(he's movin' on up, literally!). Everyone listed above as main cast was in all the opening themes(which was totally redone for this season; recording, pictures, etc.).

Cheers - Season 14

Cast:
Woody Harrelson - Huckleberry Woodrow "Woody" Tiberius Boyd
Kelly Gaines Boyd - Jackie Swanson
Kirstie Alley - Rebecca Howe Santry
Rhea Perlman - Carla Victoria Angelina Teresa Apollonia Lozupone Tortelli LeBec
Eric Allan Kramer - Randy Rinelli
John Ratzenberger - Clifford C. Clavin Jr.
Tom Berenger - Don Santry
With George Wendt - Norman Peterson
And Bernadette Birkett - Vera Peterson

Recurring Cast:
David Paymer - Stan Orwell
Rachel Magrati - Jemima McIntosh
Sam Malone - Fred Dryer (!!!)
Mr. Gaines - Richard Doyle
Gary - Robert Desiderio
Frederick Crane - Christopher/Kevin Graves
Phil - Phil Perlman
Paul - Paul Wilson
Tim - Tim Cunningham
Alan - Alan Koss
Dan - Daniel Padolsky

This season, Carla's boyfriends, Randy, becomes a main character. Stan is now only a recurring character, since he's running Melville's upstairs now. His assistant up there is the beautiful Rachel Magrati...a model from Boston who also has a head for business. There's romance there, and more to be seen! Woody, Rebecca, and Carla still work the bar downstairs, living though it's ordeals. However, Rebecca was almost written out of the script. At the beginning of the season, they were going to move her name in the opening theme to behind Rhea's again. Kirstie said that if she was moved back in the opening theme again, she would quit, so they left her as she was. Also a main character this season is Vera, who keeps on JUST missing Norm. A RECURRING character this season was none other than SAM MALONE! Yes, Sam was back for a few eps throughout the season. Turns out he found Diane...but she had found another love, so he returned to Boston. He doesn't try to get the bar back this time, saying how neither Diane nor the bar was his true love...he will just keep looking. Whenever he is there, though, he sits next to Norm AT the bar. There was one big thing different with him though...he wasn't played by Ted Danson! No, instead Fred Dryer(who played Dave Richards and was considered for Sam originally) plays him, trying desparetly to keep Ted's character up. Norm was also almost written out, after a money dispute. They wanted to take the "And" off of his name in the opening theme since they were going to put his wife last, but he didn't want that, so they put "With" for his name and "And" for Vera's. The creators found out the show was cancelled mid-season, and the cast found out just as fast. This finale was bigger than Sam's last episode in season 11, making it one of the biggest in TV history. Everyone was back in the 2-part episode; Sam(played by Ted Danson here!), Diane, Frasier, and Lilith. Entitled "The Wedding?", it was where Carla and Randy get married. However, like anything at Cheers, it wasn't without problems. A bunch of funny mishaps occur, but it does happen, as other problems are sorted out. Again, everyone listed above as cast was in the opening theme, however, Randy wasn't in it until mid-season.

weird!, huh... lol
i must of been bored...

That's good.

Great character ideas.

Although I did get a little confused when you said Rebecca almost left over a money dispute or whatever, thats a little TOO realistic.

Whoa that was awesome. You are a creative writer. I didn't like that Sam wasn't there and all these new characters kinda threw it off. The last season sounded horrible. It kinda sounds like what happened to Happy Days though. The original cast began to deteriorate and a whole new cast was brought in. It was very creative but I think Cheers ended best the way it did.:)

i kinda went w/ realism(reality? whatever...) here cuz i went w/ the idea of woody taking over as lead role cuz ted didnt want 2 stay. i should probaby revise a few things there lol

o yea...i said i wouldnt put don in the main cast now...just mentionin that cuz i DO have him in the main cast in this stuff
