They forgot about Larry Terri Cindy Felipe Mr. Angelino Lana Mr. Travers Mike the Bartender Sean Snow 07-07-2003, 02:16 AM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer They forgot about Terri Cindy Those two were in the movie. The Cindy person only had a few lines, and the Terri one I don't think had any. As for why they didn't include Larry, it's probably because either a) they didn't feel like paying an actor for the role or b) they didn't think he'd add anything to the movie. It's a shame they didn't include him - after all, Richard Kline was with the show longer than anyone else other than John and Joyce. It's too bad the movie focused so much on season 5, but then again everything about TC seems to center around that season. You mean centered around SUZANNE felepe 07-07-2003, 02:21 AM thats true, did you like the movie?? Sean Snow 07-07-2003, 02:23 AM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer You mean centered around SUZANNE The season five contract dispute centered around Suzanne, so yeah...it wasn't exactly about Suzanne though because if the movie had been about Suzanne, it would've chronicled her life...it was about the 'backstabbing' behind the scenes and all that jazz, which mainly happened in season 5 in which Suzanne left the show. It was pretty much a movie about Suzanne vs. the producers, and that's why I guess Richard wasn't included since he wasn't as involved in that as John and Joyce were, and since Jenilee and Priscilla replaced Suzanne they were included. I think it might have done well. I hope it did because if the ratings are high, that might influence DLT Entertainment to bring Three's Company to DVD since they see that the show still has a wide fan base. Sean Snow 07-07-2003, 06:24 PM Originally posted by mickfoley123 Does anyone know how the movie did in the ratings for that night? For the week of March 12, 2003 through March 19, 2003, Behind the Camera: The Unauthorized Story of Three's Company was #41 with 9.9 million viewers and a 6.9 rating and an 11 share. Out of the nine movies broadcast that week, the movie was second. information from The Futon Critic (http://www.thefutoncritic.com/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=ratings&type=weekly&week=34&season=20022003). tmb110 07-18-2003, 11:43 PM I watched the movie and was dissapointed. The movie tried to show how Suzanne WASN'T the center of attention but yet the whole movie was focused on her. Did anyone else think that? Janet and Jack's characters had very few moments on screen and Cindy, Terri, Larry, and everyone else were basically forgetten. I thought there should have been equal time with each cast member since each of them brought something special to the show. What does everyone else think? mickfoley123 07-20-2003, 09:26 PM The movie was pretty much The Suzanne Somers Story because it centered around before Three's Company and even after. I'm surprised they didn't show Step By Step in the movie. lol. I'm mad they left out Larry because he was there as long as Janet and Jack. felepe 07-20-2003, 09:40 PM i agree mick Unwanted Angel 07-20-2003, 10:10 PM I guess they left Larry out, because they felt he was not important enough to be mentioned. *shrugs* I don't know. |
