View Full Version : Who gets the Weirdest Sitcom Character Award, J.J, Urkel or Mork from Ork? TVFactFan 07-05-2003, 10:29 PM Out of these three Nutcases, i think the Weirdest Sitcom Award goes to Mork from Ork followed by J.J and Urkel. Impressions 07-05-2003, 10:55 PM Mork from Ork. *PinkLady* 07-05-2003, 11:36 PM Urkel, even though Mork and JJ aren't far behind. Brian Damage 07-06-2003, 12:58 PM Urkel was horrible. IMO DianeChambers87 07-06-2003, 02:45 PM I think maybe Mork, although(even though he's not a choice) Clifford Clavin is right up there.... Sitcomwriter 07-06-2003, 03:56 PM The ever-annoying Urkel followed by Mork and then JJ. Kitt 07-06-2003, 07:31 PM Who was Urkel? TVFactFan 07-06-2003, 07:37 PM Originally posted by Kitt Who was Urkel? Steve Urkel who played a NERD on Family Matters. Brian 07-06-2003, 07:38 PM Originally posted by Kitt Who was Urkel? He was a nerd on Family Matters who spoke in a very high nasal voice, wore glasses and wore his pants and suspenders way up. Whenever he messed something up he would look around and utter his famous line, "Did I do that?" He would always get on Carl's nerves. Whenever he laughed, he snorted. I used to watch him on TGIF growing up and I share the same birthday as the now-typecast actor who portrayed him, Jaleel White. automatic princess 07-06-2003, 08:25 PM Urkel Kitt 07-06-2003, 11:33 PM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer Steve Urkel who played a NERD on Family Matters. Well irony of ironies. I was going to say, 'What about that guy who...." to Solomon, but I know how he hates it when we divert from the question, so I didn't. Urkel! He's the worst thing to ever happen to sitcoms. People shut off their TVs, forever, because of that character.:p TVFactFan 07-07-2003, 01:16 AM Originally posted by Kitt Well irony of ironies. See Mork and J.J were Adults acting wild and goofy but i just feel no sitcom character was more weird than Mork. Mork was Too over the top Brian 07-07-2003, 01:21 AM Originally posted by Sitcom Analyzer I guess since Urkel was a teenager, he really didn't appear extremely CRAZY. Mork was Too over the top On the Happy Days episodes he was really over the top but on Mork & Mindy the character was toned down somewhat but still funny. Are you sure? I remember Mork being Wild and still sitting on his head in season One. James 07-07-2003, 12:22 PM Originally posted by DianeChambers87 ... Clifford Clavin is right up there.... Urkel surely was a dork but he was a lovable one! LucyFan 07-07-2003, 09:53 PM I don't think Mork was that "wierd" because he was from another planet getting settled in earth-living. Anyways, I think JJ was the weirdest character out of those choices. Sitcomwriter 07-15-2003, 03:11 PM Originally posted by James Who is Clifford Clavin? Cliff (John Ratzenberger) from "Cheers". You probably didn't like the show because you saw episodes without the father D-Dey 08-04-2003, 04:58 PM Originally posted by LucyFan I don't think Mork was that "wierd" because he was from another planet getting settled in earth-living.
