I miss my friends :(:(

I dont have any friends at school so summer doesnt suck for me.

I live in a boring town with nothing to do.

this is the first summer i have had more than one good friend to hang out with so it ought to be good for me

That sounds like me. I hate snakes and stuff like that. Plus, the hot weather isn't too great either. I dunno how many times I've told my mom I was gonna move to Alaska.:lol:

I hate the heat and humidity. Spring and Fall are my favorite seasons.

Maybe you should make new friends. When I graduated last month I knew I was going to leave behind a few really good friends of mine. Now that I'm off to college next month that will give me a chance to make some more friends. People are going to come and go in your life. Some you may see but others you may never see again. That may sound depressing but that's life.

I only have about 3 friends that I hang out with during the summer and 2 of them are out of town for the week and the other has to work from 3-10 Monday-Friday so this is probably going to be my suckiest week of the summer. :(

I've made friends this summer (on the Internet, anyway) and I have a job, so it's not going too badly.

I freak everytime I see a snake or lizard. :lol: Antarctica is the only continent without native reptiles or snakes. I read that off of a snapple bottle cap. :lol:

Because there's no school. I rather be in school than in some dead end job, day in and day out. They should make school year round, and then every three months, give a month off. That'd be good. No long, boring summers, and longer vacations during the winter and colder times. But since college is starting, that's not an option anymore.

yah so my town is kinda abandoned right now, 2 weeks till I leave for a week tho!!! and then a week after I come back I actually get to go on vaca

True, but when you're in college, you get a month off for Christmas. :D I just finished high school and am going to college in the fall, as well. I can't complain with the vacations we get! Plus, we get out earlier. When I was in high school, we didn't get ANY spring break! :eek: None. Nothing. Nada. Yeah, my school sucks. This is the same school that made us go back after Xmas vacation on JANUARY 2ND THIS YEAR! ON A THURSDAY! I'd like ti strangle the guy here who came up with my schedule for last year... :rolleyes:

I miss my friends, too! I go to a private school, so everyone comes from all over, so most of my friends live really far from me. It stinks!

We had to go back after Christmas break on January 2 too which I thought was so stupid because like you said, it was a Thursday. At least this year we got back January 5 but that's only because the 2nd is a Friday and no one in their right mind would make us go to school then.

MOST of my friends are idiots who are OBSESSED over their bfs, so, I don't keep in touch with many of them over the summer if I can help it. Besides Tony, I hang around with Stacie, Serena, and Erica. That's about it.

Before school ended in May, I saw the high school calendar for the 2003-04 school year. My high school gets out for Christmas vacation on December 23rd!! They go back the same day you do, too. They start August 25th (I think) and get out on May 28th. :eek: I'm just glad I graduated when I did! I would have been SOOOOOOOO mad if I had to get out of school on December 23rd. :mad: Since I am starting college in the fall, I think we get out on something like December 10th. I'm not sure yet, though. I do know we start college a week and a half after everybody else does. :)

I've actually been able to see my friends this summer, but it still sucks because the break's sooo long and it gets boring after awhile.

Believe me, I went through four years of that! But your real friends will eventually grow out of it and they will see the importance of having both you as a friend and their boyfriends.

I'm sooooo glad that's not going to happen to you! I think it's crazy to be in school well into June, especially if you start school in August! It's always been cool with me whenever I start school, because we always start the last week of August and get a 3 day weekend the first week (Labor Day). :D

summer is awesome you can do whatever you want cept my stupid dad is always whining "wah wah you never do anything but play video games and you never see oyur friends wah" it's my summer and i'll do whatever the hell i want with it. and i email my friends every day and we see eachother sometimes.

-The seniors ended almost two weeks before we did this year.
-We start school on August ****ing 19 because all the hick kids are in 4-H and go to the fair. I live in a rural area, yet we are the only school who starts early, then goes for a week and gets out another week for fair. What is the POINT????

Discussing school calendars yet again, I think June 10 is pretty good, being that we got out June 12 this year. I actually consider the 10th early, we haven't gotten out then in a few years. But like you said I kind of like starting that last week in August because we always start on a Tuesday and then get that Friday and Monday off for Labor Day. :lol:

LOL, either way, we have really messed up school calendars. :D For as long as I can remember since I started school in 1987, we always started school the last week of August and always got out the Friday before Memorial Day in May. This year sucked ass because we didn't get any breaks in March! We just had the Presidents' Day break in February (which was Feb 14th-17th, we got Valentine's Day off! Yay!), then no breaks until APRIL 17TH!! That sucked big time. :(
