With the new server, I think it will be able to handle the load.

1 or 2 photo limit, and try to keep it under 50k in size (so you could have 2 25k images). The smaller the images in kb the better.

Report any signature violators via the 'Report this post' link. Violators will receive *1* warning, if you violate it a 2nd time you will have your signature removed and you will no longer be allowed to edit your profile.

You can check the size of the photo by right clicking on a photo and then hit properties.. For example, that photo in Brandon's signature is over 90k.. he probably is going to have to reduce that.

50 K is 50KB, 1,000KB being a Megabyte, 1,000 bytes being a KB,

You are directly linking to lisawhelchel.com - they probably don't let you do that anymore.. You need to upload the photo here and link it that way. Your image shows up blank.

Why don't you just highlight the url, right-click it, hit copy, and then hit paste when you insert it?

You're fine. Check the properties, it says 20011 bites, which means 20kb (k = thousand). You're under the limit.

So now I'm having this problem where every once in a while the picture comes on, then it's off. I checked the properties again, and it's all different numbers and letters...:confused:

You aren't doing it right.. it can't have all those extra numbers and letters in it..

Actually, what happened is that before, all those numbers and letters at the end didn't come up. And I even copied and pasted the URL in the properties and had just the last eight numbers. Very strange...:confused:

So the image came back on after TJ changed it. So I leave and come back and the picture's gone. I don't think it has anything to do with adding the siggy quote, because it worked fine after he fixed it. Why does it keep doing that?:confused:

TJ, how's my sig? It's really only two pictures. The one on the sides are the same. Also, both pics are very small in file size ranging from 5-6 kbs. Besides, I'm on dial-up so believe me when I say I don't want to wait minutes for my own sig to load. Heh.
