Disney is into the now teen stuff at the moment, and NLITB just isn't new and I doubt a lot of teenagers would watch it. Eh, should I say what I'm thinking? No, I'm probably wrong, but I'll say it anyway. Okay, NLITB spent a little time on TBS, correct? What is N @ N doing now? Aren't they acquiring shows that came from TBS and WGN. Let's take a look. Three's Company- Yes, spent sometime on TBS. Cosby Show- Yes. Wings- not too sure Cheers- not too sure All in the Family- not too sure But lets look at the new stuff they are getting. Full House- Yep Roseanne- Yep Fresh Prince- Yep But then again the new shows have been shown on TBS forever. How long was NLITB on there? NLITB might be too rare for N @ N, but maybe they'll get some brains one day and show some rare modernish shows. Yeah, I know, NLITB= the 80s, but still it's newer than the plain LITB. Mijada 07-05-2003, 07:25 PM Wouldn't make any difference to me. I don't have the Disney channel. :( I do wish somebody would pick that show up though. I wouldn't mind seeing it again. junecleaver 07-05-2003, 08:38 PM last week i emailed tvland, the hallmark channel and TBS superstation. They all said that they don't have any plans at the present time to put it on. :( any other channel suggestions? AKA 07-05-2003, 10:12 PM Still The Beaver originally aired on The Disney Channel, but was retitled The New Leave It To Beaver and moved to TBS and first-run syndication for the remainder of its run. I highly doubt The Disney Channel would ever air the show again. Your best bet would be TV Land. I bet if they knew there was enough demand for the show, they would air it, at least periodically. I imagine it wouldn't cost very much to acquire the rights to the show. |
