Guys, I dunno about you..this may sound crazy but starting tonight I am going to tape EVERY Facts of Life episode. Nick at Nite signed a contract for 2 years, well at least thats what I heard. That means after this showing of all the seasons, no more. I am especally taping "Less Than Perfect", the "New Girl 1 + 2" and the "Beginning of the Edn part one and two" does any one think im doing wrong or right..which one

You are NOT crazy. I've got like 160 episodes on tape, and I know I'm not the only one here who's been taping them. Unfortunately I only started after the second run of the marathon (the week I got hooked) so I still have a little ways to go. It's a good idea though, I'm glad I have them.

mrs.g~ theres no excuse for a loose moose!
nat~ who wants to be a skinny pencil. i would rather be a happy magic marker!
tootie~hot stuff coming hot stuff coming! and the pizzas are warm too!
I tape them, too. Unfortunately my brain didn't kick into action until they started showing the last season, so I only have about 35 episodes taped. Yes, I know, I could kick myself too, but that's why I've devoted myself to recording every SINGLE episode, even if it means staying up to such insane hours of the night http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

Beverly Ann: Let's see. It's tomorrow in Africa so if I want to talk to Edna today then I should have called her yesterday...

Blair: The worst thing about falling asleep at the wheel is that I didn't get to see my whole life flash in front of my eyes.
Jo: Well that woulda killed ya for sure.

I agree with everyone. I have about 7 tapes right now, and somewhere around 153 eposides taped. When an eposide comes on at 1:30 in the morning (or somewhere aroudn there) I usually set my alarm clock to wake up. Just incase it doesn't go off I also set the clock on my vcr. I'll admit I did miss some eposides the first time around, but I'm going to make sure to get this time.

OK guys, my dirty little secret. I'm an engineer, I graduated from college magna cum laude, I can program in 7 different computer languages, but I CANNOT figure out how to use my VCR with digital cable. Damn.... I really wanted to tape the new girl eps.... What I may do is run it through my computer and video capture them that way. That may also be a great way to get some screen shots. I'll let you know if I'm able to get anything setup.

Coily2,
Did your digital cable come with this cable that you can hook in the back of the digital cable and then put the hook looking thing above the eye of the VCR?
You can still hit the record button on your VCR and record that way. I have digital and it came with a VCR commander (which is what I am describing about the hook and it plugs into the back of the digital box. I have mine hooked up. But oyu can also call your cable company and they will talk you thru this. Hope this helps.

Jeanie, Thanks for the advice. I'll give that a shot.
