Well, I don't have just one favorite year in my life. The favorite years of my life were between 1984 (the year of my birth) and 1994.

I loved the mid-80s to 1991. I married in 1985, so we had that honeymoon thing going on. I was in my 20s. My sister and my parents were alive. I'd give anything to have those days back.

I liked 1991-1996, which were my elementary school years. I remember I would spend most of my summers watching TV especially Nicelodeon and Nick at Nite. I can remember right now the old school days of Nick at Nite, when Mr. Ed, Get Smart, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and other classic shows were on that channel. I also would get up very early and watch Mr. Wizard's World and Dennis the Menace. I also loved to play video games. I played my heart out on my Super Nintendo.

2000-2003 are my other favorite years. Those were my sophomore, junior, and senior years of high school. I always looked forward to going to school every day. I consistently got good grades and I had friends. I played on the school softball team, which won world championships in every year I went to school there. Grad Nite at Disneyland, getting awards every year, and high school graduation were some of my favorite highlights from those years.

It had to have been 1980 and thru out the 80's, I loved where I was living at the time. I had all my babies with me ( my horses, my dogs, a cat ) they are all gone now. My dad, he is gone. We had a beautiful house with beautiful shade trees.

1999 - my seventh grade year. Everything was in place and going perfectly...then it went downhill for the next 3 years. :( However, the year of 2003's been good to me so far.

By far 2003. :D 1999-2000 was a lot of fun but too much bad stuff/tragedies also took place in 2000 for me, so I'd have to go with this year. Seriously ever since second semester of junior year started I've been having so much fun and it hasn't stopped yet. Being 17 has been my favorite age so far.

1985 - I was born, what a great year! :D
1987 - My first memories started that year. 1987 was the year I learned how to play the NES and I started preschool the following fall.
1988 - Just having fun being a little kid.
1989 - Same as 1988.
1990 - I went to Walt Disney World in January of that year and started kindergarten that fall. It is one of the years I look back VERY fondly at. I miss 1990. :crying:
1991 - Another year I look back fondly at.
1993 - Had fun just being a third grader.
1994 - Same, but fourth grade.
1997 - I was in seventh grade and had the HUNKIEST teacher ever!!!!! I drooled over him all the time! He sadly move away at the end of that school year. :(
1998 - I turned 13 and started eighth grade that year. I got to be really good buddies with one of my teachers, and we are still buddies today.
1999 - I liked the first part, but not the last part, it sucked! This was also the year I started high school.
2000 - I was totally rockin' that year. I turned 15 this year and went on a ton of vacations. Yeah!!
2001 - OMG...That was the best year (Aside from Sept 11th). I had my Sweet 16 and golden b-day so it was really awesome.
2002 - I got to go to Washington DC and that was the highlight of my year. I started senior year that fall. :D
2003 - By far one of the best years around! I went on my senior trip, graduated from high school AND I GOT TO MEET VICKI LAWRENCE! I could not ask for better.

(Sorry this was such a long post...Hey, you asked!)

Favorite year:

Probably 1978. ABC's great (Fall) Tuesday night's line-up (Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, Three's Company, Taxi, and Starsky & Hutch). High School year for me. Radio stations now gone still around back then.

Also-

1974. Junior High School year. Summer vacation!

1999. The year I bought my limousine.

I guess it would be 1995. I always have fond memories of that year. Mainly because "NewsRadio" debuted that year and I taped the episodes off of NBC and watched them over and over and over again. Plus, I really liked the Nick at Nite lineup. That's when they brought on "The Munsters." I used to love "I Love Lucy" that year also. That was also the year they played "Welcome Back, Kotter," in their Block Party Summer. Yep, 1995 was a good year. I also like 1989.

Don't say that! :( 1991 was the year I finished kindergarten and went into first grade, and I loved both years in school. It's hard to believe it's been 12-13 years since I was in kindergarten. :o

Between '83 and '89, without a doubt were the best years for me. Being a kid and growing up then was great, and I miss it. Lots of great memories, still friends with many of the people I went to school with at the time, all that good stuff.
