We all know Claire treated Cliff in a Controlling way. She was the one who made the decisions and maybe that's why Rudy decided to boss Kenny around in the episode Theo's Flight._LOL Claire was still telling Cliff what to do when she told him to get Rudy and then she said told him to do it NOW!

Hello she did correct herself by saying please. Also look at the fact that Rudy have sisters who are quite a few years older than her. She watched the way they interact with men. She looked up to her sisters especially Sondra. The biggest thing that disturb me with the Kenny and Rudy relationship was the adult like dialogue they got into when they got into it. "You got to earn my love," what does a child know about that unless she heard her elders make similar statements than that, i.e Rudy's older sisters and mom.

The Cosby Show did a great deal of male bashing. It came from the women not only Clair. It went from the grandmothers on down to the five Huxtable women.

Yeah, I know sometimes Rudy treated Kenny mean BUT he never really complained about it. In a way I thought it was kind of cute. I think he liked Rudy but he never really expressed it. I liked when she started calling him Bud! Why was that?

Rudy said it was a name that she gave him-never say why she picked that name.

Well, this is what i think. if you remember Rudy said (either the season before or some episodes before) that she would have a husband named "Bud". And then comes along Kenny who she calls "Bud", either Rudy called him that because she thought he would be her husband, or maybe the writers were doing a little future forecasting ( who knows maybe they wouldn't gotten married in the end).

And Ms. Stewart, ur right about the male bashing. that totally wasn't kool. But it went by on the show so casually and inadvertently that it didn't seem bad. Not kool at all.
