In SOD, Deanna speaks about why she is exiting. She says her character is at odd with her Christian convictions, and it’s been placed on her heart to move on.
She doesn't know what's next but she will be auditioning again.
Her last tape date is Aug.29th, so she will seen through out the first few weeks of September.

Oh my Gosh, Chris! I was just looking up Passions news tonight for like the first time ever and didn't come across this. I am really disappointed! I wonder what's going to happen now... SHUCKS!

Some fans are hoping for a Gwen miracle and the first Kay (Taylor) comes back to the show. I hope so because they did this replacement on the character Kay a few years ago after Taylor with Gina Marie May and she sucked. Thank God Deanna came in to take her place.

Yeah, I would rather see Taylor come back than have anyone else play Kay. I can't remember Taylor when she was on probably because I didn't watch hardly at all back then. I remember the second Kay though, and she sure did suck. I have heard good things about Taylor and since she was the original, her coming back would be the best choice.

I hate this :mumble: I wanted Taylor back, not some girl that played on a reality show :mumble:
'Passions' Snags NBC Reality Vet
(Monday, August 18 11:07 AM)
Apparently pimping your father on national television has fringe benefits beyond the possible addition of a new stepmother.
Heidi Mueller, who was featured in NBC's summer reality hit "Who Wants to Marry My Dad?," has parlayed that exposure into a contract role on the NBC soap "Passions."
Mueller will play Kay Bennett, the scheming and manipulative daughter of Harmony Police Chief Sam Bennett and his wife Grace. On her summer reality show, she played Heidi Mueller, the opinionated daughter of Don Mueller, a Cincinnati businessman who let his children help choose his future bride.
"We are delighted to have Heidi join the talented cast of 'Passions,'" says Sheraton Kalouria, senior vice president of NBC Daytime.
This will be Mueller's acting debut. She begins shooting the week of Sept. 8 and her first broadcast date is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 23.

Well, I'm pleased--she'll be as great as the new Jessica. But the bad news is, she has a much bigger role.
GEEZ! What a disappointment.
this is three kay's in 4 years, right?

Heidi will be the fourth Kay Bennett. Taylor was the first, then Gina Marie May or what ever her name was - she sucked, then Deanna and now this girl.
Passions is a winner for losing all great cast members. I don't under stand why they fired the first girl that played Simone and the first guy that played Hank.
