Since i posted this thread yesterday but for some reason it disappeard i'll do it again today. This is one of the saddest episodes. Last night was my third time seeing it, and I still everytime that Rebecca lies to sam and makes him think that he burns down the bar I always think "YOU BITCH!!!" but then when he yells at her I feel so bad for her.

Poor Sam, I feel so incredibly bad for him in this episode...I mean think about it his whole life is gone.....I've always said that there are 3 things that make Sam go ballistic because they matter to him so much, he will either kill it, or killl for each of these things: [1] Diane [2] Cheers [3] his vette....and in this one he doesn't have any of them.....:(

same here maria!!!! once again great minds think a like!!!LOL!!! i think that is one of the saddest episodes too!!!! i really feel sorry for sam cause he sold his vette:( !!! This was my first time watching it, and I couldn't control the emotions. I felt terrible for Rebecca because Sam was such an inconsiderate jerk to her. And then, when she refused to forgive him, because what he did to her was on purpose, I couldn't take it any more.

I was outraged when she went crawling back to her though.

Wow long time no see any lilith fans around the board!! So happy to have you back!:D I cried the first time too!!

When I started watching though like right after I see it burn down my first thought is OMG where's Sammy, and then when he shows up in his jammies and red sox jacket(which he looked so adorable in) I was awww poor Sammy! Immediately after Sam shows up and I saw his reaction my second thought was "Oh...My....God....how's Norm taking this..... his.....(gulp) ...stool.......burned....down...."

anyone else notice in this ep that the set isnt the same, b4 or after the fire?

before the fire (the night after woodys wedding), see how the office is shaped weird? (notice the wall w/ the door in there...its too diagonal or somethin)

then after the fire, the hallway to the pool room is too narrow. (compare it w/ another ep...its about twice as big in every otehr ep).

anyway...its back to normal in The beer is always greener, so...
makes u wonder if they had a totally other set made just for this ep, for the fire...but the front looks the same...whatever lol

lol yeah it was a differnet set probably, i highly doubt that they would destroy the real set for one episode. the real set is priceless

I noticed the hallway. It was narrow. I think maybe they just scooted that wall in closer than it usually is. maybe i dunno.
