I've been in SOL withdrawal. First most of Thursday, then last night I was in mid-post when the database crashed. I guess I must be one of the first ones back, since I'm one of only 45 members online. I'm glad it's back!!!

If TJ just changed servers, then it's not surprising that he had technical problems. I'm in the computer field and that pretty much always happens when you upgrade - that you have bugs to fix. Apparently the latest problem was a database crash. Hopefully, it's fixed now.

I'm being patient, I was just wondering because I've been having computer problems on top of everything and I wanted to make sure it was the boards and not my computer acting up.

This Whole Day Has Been Strange For Me. First I Go To The 4th Of July Parade And A Big Storm Came (Everyone Was Running, Looked Like A Tornado Hit) Running Into This Store To Get Away From It All, The People In The Parade Were Still Going, It Was SO Gloomy Outside Now It's Sunny As Can Be, Like Normal, Strange But Fun And Exciting 4th Of July Huh? :lol:

Yeah, the last day or few hours of posts are definintely gone. I guess he lost the most recent data. Maybe he had to restore the database from a backup tape.

I just hope SO doesn't completely get messed up.

It wasn't too bad. I only checked once or twice today to see if they were up yet. Last September, the boards were down for 3 1/2 days, so this was nothing really.

I was afraid lastnite that everything would be erased.. that would be horrible. Only a days worth of posts got deleted, and to be honest I forget what most of mine were!:lol:
