Was he supposed to be the male version of Chrissy? gilligan fanatic 09-24-2006, 10:57 AM I strongly agree! Was he supposed to be the male version of Chrissy? Just seeing this three years latter, but that was preety funny and I wonder if that is true Brian Damage 09-24-2006, 11:03 AM EZ was horrible. There was nothing remotely funny about him. TVFactFan 09-24-2006, 11:40 AM I think the only time he made me laugh was when he was mad at Jack because his girlfriend was sitting on Jack's lap-lol PrettyinPink55 09-24-2006, 04:03 PM I like the idea you had in another post--bring back Felipe!! Now THAT would've been funny!!! BensonFan 09-27-2006, 11:50 AM EZ had his moments when he made me laugh, but I think he was supposed to be the stereotypical "surfer" type from California. They played that stereotype to the max with him and sometimes it did get annoying. That all CA sufers were WEIRD?-lol Brian Damage 09-27-2006, 06:26 PM What was the stereotype? That all CA sufers were WEIRD?-lol Like totally spaced out dude. Felipe had some of the funniest moments in the entire run of Three's Company!! Just bringing him back would have made TAC worthwhile!! TVFactFan 10-03-2006, 04:02 PM I TOTALLY AGREE!! Felipe had some of the funniest moments in the entire run of Three's Company!! Just bringing him back would have made TAC worthwhile!! Maybe Felipe instead of EZ and no Mr. Bradford. LadySparta 01-12-2012, 09:56 PM What was the stereotype? That all CA sufers were WEIRD?-lol I'm a CA native, I surf, and I'm not like that at all lol. I find it funny how people find EZ's stereotypes offensive and not Chrissy's, which I think was just as bad if not worse. I think those of you who take issue with EZ are holding a double-standard because Chrissy had such a hot rack. What hypocrites you are, you should all be ashamed lol. Felipe should have went over to Three's a Crowd with Jack and been the chef dlemond 01-13-2012, 11:05 PM I'm a CA native, I surf, and I'm not like that at all lol. In this case with Chrissy and the rack, a true double standard. ;) I am ashamed. Big3sCompanyFan 01-14-2012, 03:39 AM EZ!!!-THe weirdo Chef that Jack hired for some reason. I agree EZ wasn't THAT great but he wasn't THAT bad either! I mean look at all the awful bland characters on TV today! He toned down toward the end of the season but it was too late by that time Big3sCompanyFan 01-14-2012, 08:34 PM He toned down toward the end of the season but it was too late by that time EZ did some goofy things and tried to be funny. He didn't cause me to burst out laughing but very few sitcom characters do. Only characters like Jack Tripper, George Jefferson, and Larry Dallas can cause you to burst out laughing. It's a pretty rare feat. LarkRiser 02-28-2015, 01:22 PM EZ!!!-THe weirdo Chef that Jack hired for some reason. I actually kinda sorta like Three's A Crowd. But I'd like it a whole lot more if it wasn't for the awful EZ character. TVFactFan 02-28-2015, 01:48 PM Bingo. Cbalducc 09-25-2021, 12:16 AM The major problem with “There’s A Crowd” is that it was green lit in the first place. The series wasn’t terrible, but I think John Ritter had taken the Jack Tripper character as far as he could go on “Three’s Company”. He must have been promised a huge amount of money for “Three’s A Crowd”. I wonder if he came to regard the series as a mistake. TVFactFan 09-25-2021, 02:35 PM I think if TC had ended after four or five seasons, TAC may have had more fresh material to keep it from being a one-season wonder. It was a one season one wonder because it was Three's Company with just Jack. But the show is still more watchable than the Ropers TMC 06-29-2023, 03:30 AM Come to think of it, like others have said (https://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showpost.php?p=4639166&postcount=15), why didn't they carry Felipe (https://threescompany.fandom.com/wiki/Felipe_G%C3%B3mez) over from Three's Company if they wanted a chef character for Jack to interact with (https://www.facebook.com/That80sDude/videos/who-remembers-the-first-time-jack-meets-salad-chef-felipe-gomez-gino-conforti-fe/208536740930533/)? It was a complete missed opportunity. And maybe having Felipe around would've helped make Three's a Crowd less "alien" from Three's Company in the eyes of viewers. |
