Yeah, so about 4:00 today I was in a car accident. I wasn't driving and no one was hurt but I'm still freaked out by it. My friend Lindsay was driving and she rear-ended a guy.We both weren't wearing our seatbelts and I flew forward and still don't know how I didn't hit the windshield because I was really close. The more I think about it, it could have been so much worse, all I got was a little scrape on my elbow and knee and Lindsay hurt her shoulder. I really think someone was looking out for us.

Whew, hopefully that's the last accident I'm ever in because I'm still like :eek:

aw i'm really sorry about that! hey, call me a goody goody, but whenever i drive or go driving w/ my friends i always wear a seatbelt (unless it's like up the street or something) because i'm TERRIFIED of car accidents! My older brother Raymond's friend fell into a coma from a car crash, but came out of it a week later, but still i'm scared of car crashes

Yeah I don't know why I wasn't wearing my seat belt. I ALWAYS wear it when I'm driving and almost all the time when I'm anywhere else in the car. I honestly couldn't tell you why I didn't have it on today, stupid I guess. We were only about a mile from her house too, guess the stats about all accidents happening within 5 miles of your house is true.

I just don't feel comfortable in a car without a seat belt.

right, same here. also if mom or dad ever caught me driving or riding w/o a seatbelt it would be "bye bye car; hello grounding..."

For me, it would just be "bye bye Anthony" because my parents would kill me if the crash didn't do it first!!! :eek:

I know what you guys mean, which is why I'm so surprised we didn't get hurt, at least our parents believe us that we were wearing our seatbelts. But let me tell you, next time I'm in a car that's the first thing I'll reach for. because most of the time if I'm not driving I take my time putting it on, now it will be on before the car is even started.

Aww! I am so sorry to hear that. Since I started driving I ALWAYS make sure to put my seatbelt on! I am glad your ok!:)

I'm glad that you and your friend are ok. You were VERY lucky, since neither of you were wearing seatbelts- you could have belt hurt very badly. Please wear your seatbelt! In my state, it a law to wear it. I'd feel naked if I was riding around in a car and didn't have my seatbelt on. I've always worn my because my dad is strict about that, he won't even push the gas until everyone has their belt on, but that's alright.

my dad was in a car accident yesterday

his car is history and his seat belt cut his stomach sorta open and his right side is all funky, it sux, i kno what its like

i was in a bike accident and smashed my bike up and my arm and leg up

i hit a telephone pole and was hospitalized 4 awhile. .. ya
