I just heard a song I had totally forgotten about and would love to download it but feel somewhat apprehensive about it now. The last thing I need is a hefty fine and though it seems the odds of being one of the ones targeted are slim considering downloading is a global activity, I can't help thinking "With my luck, I'll be the first to get sued :rolleyes:" Are you guys still downloading? Am I being paranoid? :crazy:

No, I don't think you're paranoid, because I feel the same apprehension about downloading, also. :( I don't want to get slapped with a fine that I know I can't pay off right now...and if my mom found out and had to pay it off... :eek:

i still am! they can't keep me from my music!! i just moved all my song files so i am not sharing any at all. therer is still almost 4 million users on kazza everytime i am online

I still am. I don't use Kazaa though, I use WinMx. It didn't really make me think twice. So if anything happens to me, I could use one of those cakes too! ;)

I still download, but I don't share. I heard that the people that are getting sued, are sued for the songs that they had on their "share" folder.

Whenever I download something, I move it somewhere else.

I'm PROUD to say that I'm still downloading! In fact, I downloaded 4 songs from the Save The Last Dance soundtrack last night. I don't see what the big deal is I mean sooner or later I go to the store and buy the actual cds anyway. I only download them until I can go buy them or unless my cd gets scratched or something.

Im gonna download until the FBI or whatever comes and removes me from my computer chair. :D

Yeah, I don't share either. Only because I don't like keeping Kazaa or WinMX open that long. It slows down my computer especially if I'm working in Photoshop or something. So I download what I want and burn it to a data or music disc for later reference so I don't keep it on my computer.

yup i use kazaa and im not gonna stop.

I'm actually downloading some songs right now.I don't care about the fine mainly because they've been threatening us forever and nothing's happened so yeah it's just hype and tripe.

Well, I got over my fear of downloading and downloaded some songs, but I burned them on CDs and then erased the files off of my hard drive, plus I've installed a firewall just to be on the safe side. :D

I don't download songs anymore. Once I found the tv show section I couldn't stop downloading Buffy. So far I have all of season 6 on my computer. :)

I downloaded some music early in the week. I have just about everything that I want so I just uninstalled/removed KaZaa from my computer. I am hoping that by removing it that no one can download from here. I still have all my music though!:D

yeah i still download... i'm getting buffy season 7 and songs for free.

I got rid of kazaa tho. My mom made me. She said she'd pay for a downloading system, she just doesn't want me getting sued.

i do. i dont care if anyone tries to sue me, theyre obviously trying to get money and how would they track me down anyway? kazaa is legal and if they sue anyone they should be suing kazaa.

They could probably contact Your ISP as far as tracking you down.... And the reason they are not sueing kazaa is because kazaa can/has argued that it is not their fault if people use their software for illegal things

hmm... but how can they find out what my ISP is? if kazaa is saying its not their fault if ppl use their software, it IS their fault is they made it in the first place and alloqing ppl to use it.

Of course I still download! I don't know what I'd do without my darling Kazaa.
