Is it true that the 1991 film "I Still Dream of Jeannie" was 'lost' (meaning that the original made-for-TV copy was lost)?

I'm asking because an Ebay seller has indicated in his/her ad that the original film was lost, and thus it's a "bargain" to purchase a DVD or VHS copy off of Ebay.

Not that I am aware of. That just sounds like another variation on the "Wow, rare this and that" perpetually utilized on ebay by overzealous sellers. They constantly claim an item is rare, even though there are many more copies of said item elsewhere on ebay or on the net, just to generate interest and jack up the price. Hence, the reason you might see a paperback book from some movie or tv show going for $50 +. Be wary is all I can add.

That sucks, but I guess that siggys contribute to the expenses that the administrator has to cover (no?) :(

Nonetheless, I'm still grateful that we still have this board.

I guess I should pay attention to board announcements more often :o
