For the past few days I have not been able to see the pics in some people's signatures. I can see some pictures but most of the others have a red "x" where the image should be. I've talked to Todd about this several times and he said that if I'm logged in I should see every picture and attachment, at least those that are uploaded correctly but I am logged in and I still see many red x's. Whenever I see my signature posted, there is a red x. What's weird is that some people have said that they see the picture and not the red "x." I have gone on the boards on all three of my computers (my laptop, which I'm using now, my father's PC, and my mother's iMac) and the same thing happens so if it was something to do with the computer there would be something wrong with 3 different computers. Is anybody else having this problem and can anybody else see the picture in my signature?

I haven't noticed that problem at all on my computer. I have an iMac computer and what I've seen I can see all the pics. I don't know.

Yay!!! Somebody else!!! The same exact thing is happening to me. :( I can't see the picture in my own siggy, let alone half of anyone else's...actually sometimes I can see them, but most of the time I can't.

Now it's not there anymore. It became a red x right after I posted.

I recall seeing this with one pic in someone's siggy, but with that exception, I can see them all.

I think I might have the answer. Who here has their pictures in their signatures uploaded to this web site?

Edit: Uploaded as in posted as an attachment and using the resulting URL as the html code.

I can see it right now but after this post I might not be able to. Was it from another web site?

Edit: The pic has now come up broken.

Yeah, it was from another web site.

Do you have a dial-up modem or something faster like or a cable modem or DSL?

If you have a dial-up modem, it's takes a long time to load up the pictures and there's a greater chance of the pictures looking broken up or showing a Red "X".

I can see everybody else's just fine... I MIGHT be wrong but it sounds like when your page loaded, it timed out on the picture loading...right click on any picture that comes up as a red X and click on "Show picture" and see if that shows up...If not, I dunno. :(

Everything's 100% on my side. :)

But when I right-click on it here's the link it gives me:

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/attachment.php?s=&postid=802184

It's a attachment from SO.

You're right, it must be an attachment from SO because when I right-clicked on the picture, it had the same link that you saw.

I haven't been having any problems seeing anyone's siggys. Right now, my picture is directly linked to another website's pic, so if you can see my siggy you may be right, it probably is related to pics uploaded on SOL.

I have a wireless connection. It doesn't require a modem, dial-up, or a phone jack.
