He was talking about TNBC- (Teen NBC.) TNBC was a saturday morning time-block that aired sitcoms geared to teenagers. TNBC last until last year, and it was replaced by Discovery Kids on NBC.

The only one from your list that qualifies is "Saved By The Bell."

Now, my choices for fav. TNBC sitcom:

1. "Saved By The Bell"

...and the rest are a VERY distant 2, and 3.

2. "Hang Time"
3. "California Dreams"

"City Guys" isn't that bad either, but it's not one that I call a favorite.

Saved by the Bell: The New Class after its first season is my favorite of the bunch.

After that I like California Dreams, City Guys, Running The Halls and then all of the others. Just Deal is a favorite too, but I wouldn't consider that a sitcom.

The Guys Next Door

That's going waaay back to the early TNBC days. I thought I was the only one who remembers that show.

Yeah this is an old thread. Back then "California Dreams" was my favorite. It wasn't until the DVDs were announced that I got all excited and into "The New Class." I'd still say it was a tie between those two shows.

As for "The Guys Next Door", I don't remember any actual plots, just watching it with my older sister. She was a big fan of the original "SBTB" and "Guys Next Door." I was always like the second generation. I got into "The New Class" and "California Dreams" (which she liked at the time, too). If I'm not mistaken, in the "No Hope with Dope" episode of the original "SBTB," that celebrity who turned out to be doing dope was a member of the Guys Next Door.

That's cool. I'm hoping all those shows come out on dvd, but since SBTB has the name, I'm not surprised that's the one that's been released. If any of the others come out, I'd bet it'd be Cali Dreams. Maybe Hang Time.

That's right, the actor's name is Eddie Garcia. He was one of those "Guys Next Door"

Yeah, I was just talking to my sister about that show (litterally a couple minutes ago) and she was saying how much she loved it. She also told me that the smart guy Lisa dated (where she had to act smart) was also a member of "The Guys Next Door." I believe that was the auction episode.
