Two things really impressed me about this second half of the "House Fire" story....
First, Crystal Bernard was at her absolute FUNNIEST in this episode! First, she sprays that customer with the fire extinguisher, and then she has that HILARIOUS scene with Casey at the lunch counter....the way that Helen just went about her "ketchup" business, calmly talking away while Casey freaked out had me in stitches!
Second, I like the way that Joe told Brian not to leave. They didn't make a big, sloppy "tears and hugs" scene out of it....Joe simply said, "Brian, don't leave" and the scene faded to black and showed the closing credits. Some people may complain, "Hey, they left us hanging...They're going to end it like THAT?", but I thought that it was a very effective ending. It allowed the viewer to imagine what the actual reconciliation between the brothers was like.
Yes, a very good episode! (And let's not forget Antonio running up his Master Card while he was getting his revenge!)
