does anyone know what the longest running game show was

My guess is The Price Is Right, but tyhere might have been another one that ran longer that I don't know of.

Correct. The Price is Right was and still is the longest-running game show in television history. I believe second after TPIR is Wheel of Fortune.

The Price Is Right debuted in 1972.

Wheel of Fortune debuted in 1975.
