But I was wondering if any of the single actors on Barney Miller, dated any of the actresses that appeared as guest stars on the show?
All I know is that Steve Landesberg dated Diana Canova (Soap), when she appeared in an epiosde?:wave:

I'm not too clear on the question. If what you mean is if any of the cast members dated guest stars in real life, then I couldn't really tell you, but... in the show... they all had their brushes with the opposite sex. Off the top of my head:

Wojo slept with at least two "fallen women", as he calls them (The Courtesans, Kidnapping), and also went home with the stranded beauty queen. He also went out with Barney's daughter and even said they may end up in bed! There's also Wentworth.

Although I don't think Chano went out with anyone who actually showed up, he made dates over the phone with a nurse at Belleview, and with a girls he arrested because she was a minor, but wasn't a minor after all.

Nick spent Christmas with the Japanese "streetwalker" (and it made for a pretty touching "Nick moment")

Fish was attracted to the mother of a kid he arrested, and even went to her house and sipped some wine... but didn't go beyond that.

Barney was hit on pretty heavily by a psychiatrist, and he liked her too, but turned her down in a very polite, firm yet gentle way.

It was implied that Levitt was the "donor" when a woman was looking for someone to father her child, and Wojo and Dietrich were fighting about being the one.

This didn't really get even close to anything, but Scanlon was attracted to some socialite and his attets to talk to her were pathetic yet mega-hilarious!

Harris went out with the nurse that gave them flu shots, with a lady whose husband had left her, and with the police phtographer who was there when they were dealig with homicides exclusively.

You mentioned Dietrich already. His old college girlfriend showed up that one time (Old Love), and Harris' facial expressions were priceless when he looked at Dietrich and the girl kissing passionately on the squadroom! He went out with a deaf hooker, and also asked Beverly Fish if he could call her.
