I got this off another board:

Todd Bridges (former Diff'rent Strokes star) saved the life of a wheelchair-bound woman, recently.

The woman was fishing near the edge of a lake/river, when her line got caught in her wheelchair. She fell into the water and was stuck under "3 feet" of water. Anywayz, Todd and a friend were around the area and noticed the woman in the water, and were able to help her.

In response to the rescue, Todd said something to the effect of "God having put him in that place for a reason"...

it is nice to hear some positive news about Todd. Too bad people are so fixated on his problems circa 88-93 or so. He has really gotten his stuff together and has made a better person of himself. But people are too busy remembering his arrest instead of the good things he's done. I think Todd turned what was a "tragedy" into a success.

Yeah i was really happy to hear his name being mentioned for something good. When i was watching the news i kinda shrugged cause i know he had been in trouble before and was praying god he had been doing so well now for so long that he wasnt in trouble.
