I am not trying to make a stupid post or whatever but I am really curious because in my town it seems like everyone smokes up (I live in the burbs) and I just wanted to know if it was so common in your towns for their to be pot and I notice how on tv shows their will be a half-hour episode dealing with it, but its a real issue and there is a good amount of high school teenages who do smoke it

When I was in 8th grade, there was a Senior who actually smoked pot on our bus. (I went to a private school which featured a lower school, middle school, and high school all in one)

Meangya, it seems like today just about everyone is smoking pot. Ive never done it though, nor do I plan on it. Of course tons of people did at my school.. theyre dumb.

i would estimate 85% of the people in my school, if not more smoke pot on a regular basis...

I have never smoked it and don't plan on it either. Well, at my high school ( I graduated a year ago) what I knew of hardly anyone smoked pot. If they did they did it OFF campus, because if you did do it on campus, or even at ANY school function (even if it was someplace else) you would get expelled. There was a guy in my class who got expelled like 3 weeks before graduation because they found pot in his car. I went to a small private Christian high school. I don't think that has anything to do with kids smoking less pot, but I know the majority of kids there were NOT crackheads. I think that expelling someone for smoking pot is pretty rare because if they did that everytime a kid was caught at a public school, then like everyone would be out of the school!

I thought of another thing about my high school. It's nothing to do with smoking pot, but it's about teen sex. I remember in my junior year we had a unit in religion class all about love and sex! Well, there were only 2 different class periods for that paticular teacher who taught juniors and we all took a survey on sex. So, 45 students total. Obviously, it was a confidential survey. For the question that asked if you ever had intercourse, the total number of students out of 45 that said yes were 2!! yes, 2! I was NOT one of those 2. Unless, kids were lying and said no. I don't think you can find that at many high schools now.

People smoke at school in my school..-Sighs- The ghetto... a paralell universe yet refreshingly addictive...

Reef has nothing addictive in it, so its only mentally addictive, but everythign on earth can be mentally addictive. As for pysically, you cannot get hooked like with yay, heoin, or ciggarettes...

The problem with smoking mary jane is that its illegal (for facist reasons)

Wow, I thought that was like the PRIME time for getting high! But I guess not everyone smoked it then.

I know people who've done it, and I don't know people who've done it, y'know what I mean? I don't even pay attention anymore, cuz if they want to ruin their life for years to come, it's none of my damn business. LET them die, see if I care.

when III was in School everyone did drugs you werent popular if You DIDNT do Drugs :( Hence the reason why I was never Popular It seems like its gotten worse since then

my best friend is 14 and shes done a bunch of drugs b4 i think she stopped but she still drinks. i havent tried drugs but we all joke around at school and say im the weed queen its fun.

All drugs make me want to hurl, just the Idea of cocaine and meth brewing in toxic chemicals makes me sick. The idea of Cubans, bringing drugs over by the barrel-load in "Go-Fast" boats makes me sick. Just the Idea of a Mexican smuggling pot over the border, in a condom, hidden in his ass makes me sick. and the fact that people are actually willing to do drugs makes me sick!

Not to mention the Animals. Drug smugglers fill condoms with cocaine, the stuff them into living, breathing animals like dogs, cats, birds, they don't care. the only thing drug smugglers care about is money. Drug dealers are another story, they'll sell these narcotics to children! Later on in life I plan on becomming a Vigilante, so I can hunt down those who do wrong, And punish them.

I'm sure a lot of people at my school do, I just don't know about it. I know that a lot of people who I wouldn't expect to, smoke pot. There was this kid in my art class who used to preach about how it should be legal blah blah blah. People like that bother me. I have never even seen it though, or any drug for that matter.

On the surface my town seems really.... uh perfect? But once you get down and know the students, its surprising how many people acutally smoke. I know a few of my friends do (people I would never expect to) and... I even know of a bunch of dealers, some of them are friends of mine or brothers of friends of mine.... its crazy. I mean at one middle school dance cops came and busted it because students were smoking pot there. It was so bad. Even the people who were in the gym dancing (and not smoking it) had bloodshot eyes... it scared me. But know that I'm in highschool, I dunno, drugs just seem to be an accepted thing. I mean in the morning you see kids driving to school and smoking in their car and in the afternoon after school there is always a crowd of people at the curb right after the school property ends smoking.... drugs are everywhere in my town and it seems that the only people who accpet that there is a problem are the kids.... Its insanse, and disgusting.

I was with friends last summer and we went to to one girls house and one came up with the brilliant idea of smoking her brother's weed, and watch porn. Let's just say I got out of there extremely quick. Gee I guess I have bad friends. My brother does it though behind our fence in a little closed circle with his friends and when my dad came out and asked what they were doing he was stuttering " n no not nothing"

haha...sounds like my town...you kno the suburbs..I have friends who smoke...I have been friends with people who go on to harder drugs (I am not friends with them anymore but back in middle school I was) my brother does, my older friends do...it seems like everyone does except for my tight-knit group of friends (we have been friends since elementary school) I don't know whether I will smoke or not, but I do drink occasionally..at my school (and even at the middle school) there have been drug busts..my lab partner got suspeneded for 10 days..I dont know, the parents are soo dumb they don't even realize its there!!!

i smoke weed every day we roll blunts when there are softball games going on the cops drive by 9th street park every single day and see us all down there half the time they see us we're smokin weed if they actually took the time to get out of their car they would notice somethings up but their dumb..my brother smokes weed on his bus to tech and ****

There's pot everywhere around here. I don't use it, I think it's stupid and a waste of money.

There's always kids after school smoking something...of course it's always off of school grounds. I don't understand people who do this stuff. It's a waste of their lives. My mom picks me up from school and when I get in the car there's a whole load of them in the road all stoned and not knowing what's going on, so they don't get out of the way. :rolleyes: I just tell my mom to run them over, they're gonna die soon anyway...and I know that's mean but it just makes me really mad how people can do that to themselves. :mad:

Thank God none of my friends smoke or do drugs,though. It just grosses me out and gives me a major headache :(

no offense or anything...im not saying go smoke a bowl but pot doesnt ruin your life...it isn't that harmful, I dont kno the exact statistics but there are no deaths from pot alone (im sure if you mix it with another drug then you have a horse of a different color)...there are more alcohol related deaths, but dont get me wrong I am not preaching go smoke dope...but im saying that it really does not do much and plenty of people arent "brain-dead" who smoke it

well actually I found out 1/3 of heavy marijuana users later use harder drugs such as cocained or heroin, which can kill you. But it says HEAVY users.

MARIJUANA KILLS BRAIN CELLS!!!! All them "mother ****in weed comercials" say that they found weed in the car and the drivers system. Your dad won't have a job for very long if they decide to do a random drug test.

Weed is everywhere here. I was walking to my car in the school parking lot one time and I guy was rolling weed right there in his car. I was like, "Can't you even wait to get off the school grounds?" I've never smoked it and never will and thankfully none of my close friends have either, even though like Swimfan already said, it seems like we are the only ones.
