From that site...

"Often it seems that any black-themed film made in the 1970's is automatically classified as "Blaxploitation." Few truly are (judging by Roger Corman's assertion that "exploitation movies" are films whose subject matter guarantees an audience, despite the quality of its presentation). "Super Fly" is definitely an exploitation movie, but it exceeds the usual expectations of the genre. Ron O'Neal's performance has some depth and let's face it, the pusher life has never looked cooler and seedier at the same time! But of course, as history has shown, Curtis Mayfield's amazing score shines through as the film's greatest asset. "
