Secondly, is it just me or does Blair have two moms? In later episodes she's played by a blonde-ish, snooty actress. But in an episode from the first season, she looked like a different person with a warmer voice. ???

The mom from the first season was the blonde one. Every season after that it was a different actress with the brown hair.(and a much better choice IMO)
