View Full Version : Listen, Jack would have never married Janet because he was not attracted to.... TVFactFan 06-27-2003, 05:33 PM brunettes. JamesC 06-27-2003, 06:06 PM http://www.threescompany.com/tcompany/product.asp?dept%5Fid=-1&sku=138 "An Affair to Forget" A high school friend of Janet's, Randy Buckley, is in town making a commercial. She and Jack hit it off and begin dating. Janet is pleased until Randy tells her she's married. Although Jack preferred blondes, Randy was a brunette and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more brunettes in Jack's little black book. Sean Snow 06-27-2003, 06:31 PM I don't think hair color or body would matter to Jack when it comes to getting married. If he loved Janet or anyone else, I don't think he wouldn't marry her just because of her hair color. Anyone who marries someone just because of their hair color has serious issues. Vicky wasn't a blonde, and he wanted to marry her. There was also the stewardess in the one episode in season six with the food critic. Also, in the episode where Jack poses nude, wasn't the artist a brunette? I may be wrong about that one though. Well then your 'I'm a 100% sure that she was the only one.' comment was proven wrong. Like Sean Snow said, people marry other people because of the person inside, not solely on their hair color. Anyone wants to marry someone because of their hair color is really O_Oish and needs psychiatric help. First Cindy, now Janet. Who's next in'SOLOMON's criticism line'? Terri? Larry? Mr. Furley? I said that the girl Randy was probably the ONLY brunette Jack went out with. Oh wait-one more. Chelo-she was in the episode when Jack was trying to impress a food critic. JamesC 06-27-2003, 07:17 PM http://www.threescompany.com/tcompany/product.asp?dept%5Fid=-1&sku=137 "Cousin, Cuisine" Jack does Felipe a favor by putting up his beautiful cousin, Maria, who is visiting from Mexico. Jack has the idea of romancing her, but her inability to speak English coupled with the arrival of Janet and Terri prevent this. Maria is a brunette. And in "Mate for Each Other", Jack's computer matched date was a brunette -- Janet! If Jack only desired blondes, he would have specifically requested such to the dating service. Oh god. Jack went out with probably an equal amount of blondes, brunettes, and redheads. Remember Darlene? Remember? Chrissy's hooker friend? She was a brunette. And the reason why people want Jack and Janet to be together is because they had good chemistry. What does hair color have to do with anything? Unwanted Angel 06-27-2003, 08:16 PM  Please Stop! Is this all your gonna do now is critasize Janet/Joyce now? Oh too bad. Cry me a river, build me a bridge, and get over it because most people think that Jack and Janet should have gotten married because they lived together for 7 years and worked well together. I don't really see how they're like brother and sister. I mean, sometimes it seems like it because he looks out for her but just because you're tired of hearing it doesn't mean it will stop. :) Unwanted Angel 06-27-2003, 08:37 PM Originally posted by Shane West's Angel Oh too bad. When did he ever show interes in Janet in that type of way? Never Oh my. Do you even watch Three's Company at all? Sometimes I wonder. Ever see that episode "Janet's Secret?" Jack couldn't wait to go to bed with Janet. And then he hits on her in the ep with her sister when they're in the kitchen. He's like...."Hey, maybe when we take the kid home you and I can....." and ugh there's so much more. AND who cares if its not always flirting. They had some really emotional moments where if you have never seen the show before, you'd think they were in love. Like in "Some of That Jazz" Jack comes by Janet's side after that guy Michael breaks her heart by telling her she has no talent and he only wanted her for *something*. And then in the last episode, Jack got really sad when he found out that Janet would be leaving the apartment. Did he even CARE when Chrissy left? No. Did he care when Cindy left? Not really. They just threw her a party since she'd be visiting from time to time. But it was only JANET that really got to him. See. He didn't care that he'd never see Chrissy and Cindy again but it really hurt him when Janet was leaving to get married to Phillip. I agree, I think Jack and Janet were true friends, even though there was no physical sign that they showed their love for each other, deep inside they knew that they cared for each other. I think Jack’s way of showing Janet that he cared for Janet was teasing and kidding around with Janet, so I feel that after all this time together they knew that they liked each other but it was more of a bottled up kind of love.
