Hi, Sarah. The problem with that is that there is an endless supply of them. The ones you mess with don't call back, but the number of calls you get never decreases. Eventually, the attraction of messing with their heads is replaced by frustration that it doesn't decrease the flow of unwanted calls. My phone company has very effective methods for keeping them out.

I registered my phone number today. Hope it works! Did I read that this won't take effect until October?:confused:

Nothing sucks worse than Telemarketers. My parents are on that list too.

the other day a bunch of telemarketers left messages on my answering machine and my dad called em all back and bitched at em lol

If you ever ask them for a number to call back and confirm their call, that will get a lot of them off the line fast!

Yeah, it's supposed to take a little while before it takes effect, but it's then supposed to last for five years!!!!

I've stopped answering my phone because of those awful calls. I screen every call with my answering machine. I also use a Telezapper devise, but that only lasts about three months and then the barrage of calls starts up again.
