Ok, I know the Intimate Portrait thing isn't until Friday, but I'm excited about it already so I though I would get everyone's opinions.
On the promo it says something to the effect of "this tough talking teen"...

Do you think they were referring to Nancy or to Jo Polniazcek?


Then it says something to the effect "she struggled just to be herself"...

What do you think that MIGHT refer to?


It also showed clips of her taking karate-which I think is very cool, and then she said something to the effect of "there was a time I would just keep my mouth shut because more than likely whatever were to come out would not be good"...

Any thoughts?


Then it has Alex Rocco (the dud that played Jo's dad) saying Nancy just threw the script and that was a side of her he'd never seen"...

I finally saw the previews of it last night watching "The Golden Girls" (another great show). There was a lot of cool stuff, I agree. My question is this:

Normally, they have friends and former castmates give "behind the scenes" looks at the subject. I wonder if any of the other main stars will show up. I mean, Alex Rocco is ok, but we need some Whelchel, some Rae, some Cohn, and/or some Fields.

I don't want to start wondering abotu this and that. I just plan to take it all in.

It airs Friday, Jan. 5 on LIFETIME at 7et/6ct.

I think Alex Rocco who played her Dad is the only FOLer to be interviewed for this special. Alex and Nancy have remained close and have done other movies/tv shows together. I don't really think anything else can be read into this except that they wanted to interview her brother and some other people in her life outside of FOL.

I saw the 'karate' ad too, on Lifetime. I'm not sure what any of it means until I see the whole show on Friday.

Nancy took Martial Arts lessons???? Wow Cool! Im a black belt in tae kwon do. Thats my favorite hobby!
