In the city I live in, Circuit City and Barnes & Nobels both carry a large variety of TV show DVDs. That could be different for other areas, but around here they do.

I found out that Walmart only sells shows on DVD on their website, not their stores.

I think it depends on the store. Some will carry them, some won't. I've seen a few shows at my Wal-Mart - such as The Jeffersons and Sanford & Son. The same goes for other stores.

You could go to Mediaplay but they are kind of expensive. I only go there because it is close to my house. Have you tried ordering the stuff you want online? You might have better luck.

That's about the stupidest thing I ever heard. There's about 5 Wal-Marts in my area, and every single one of them sells at least one show on DVD.

I don't want to buy them online because I work during the day and most online orders are delivered through UPS and i'm not home to get it. So that's why I wanted to buy them from stores instead of online.

UPS leaves the package by your door.

I live in a apt building that has a Front door that the UPS person can't get through without a key. So all they do is leave the UPS slip on the OUTSIDE of the door because they can't leave the package on the outside.

Hmmm. It probably depends on how old and big they are... The one here is huge and it's less than a year old so they have a big DVD section. *shrug* Sorry that I couldn't be of help to you.

Call ahead and ask if they carry them.
I live in a condo complex. When I worked full-time, I had the same problem as you with UPS, so I had my orders delivered to a relative.

Fye, which someone mentioned already has an unbelievably large selection. Borders has a smaller, but decent collection.
