I posted this in Chit-Chat, but seeing as the culprit referred to a post HERE, I figured I should re-post it on this board as well.
I went to my Hans Conried site, checked my messageboard, and lo and behold someone went to it (obviously from this board) and posted something absolutely unnecessary and impertinent.
I believe this was uncalled-for in many respects. First of all, they listed a post of mine over a year ago as a reference (and who in heaven's name refers anything to a post from eons before the time in question?) on a board that does NOT talk one iota about sitcoms of any sort-save for perhaps an odd mention about an episode that actor has been in. Secondly, in citing that post, they not only did not list anything relevant, but they also associated a single sentence in which I had labeled not a sitcom, not an actor, but my exBOYFRIEND as "PA-freakin-THETIC" and basically said that I need a dictionary or to learn English better. As you can plainly see (not only here, but on my own website and in past posts I have made) I happen to write better English when it is called for, and should not be judged by a simple choice to put one adjective in the middle of another.
My point to this sheer onset of ramblings? WHO DID IT? I want to know "Anonymous" who you are and WHY you posted on my messageboard with that absurdity! The post will be deleted tonight when I get home from work, but if you desired to tick me off royally, you did. I refuse to sit by and have some child defile my messageboard with imbecillic stupidity when I have done my best to keep that as a respectable location for pertinent conversation.
And if it was in ANY way to bring me back here to these boards just to post, you succeeded for the time being, but you could have done it in another manner.
**Gracie, the seriously pissed off moo**
PS: Need a dictionary? Everything which I have just posted there happens to be ENGLISH.
