I got burnt really bad yesterday and I dont have any of that Aloe Vera stuff so is there any other kind of lotion or gel that could help? Your help would be greatly appreicated!! ;)

Vinegar helps, it gets rid of some of the redness, and help soothe the pain. Just put some on a paper towel and apply it directly to the sunburn. Hope that helps:)

Heylo :) It's going to sound like a painful idea, but if you can stand hot water, take a hot shower. Sure, it hurts a little, but afterwards, it takes all the sting out of it. The hotter the better :D

Umm, just wear really loose cotton clothes for now so it doesnt upset the burn. Put some lotion in the fridge and then after its really cold put some on.:D

Make baking soda into a paste with water and apply to the sunburn and let it sit on your skin for a little while. It takes the heat out...(sounds weird but it does work. My grandma always had my mom do it as a kid, and my mom mentioned it to her paramedic friend, and he said it does work.)

I did it in the shower when I used it so it wouldn't get all over the place. I've already been burned three times so far already this year...

lol, I was out mowing the lawn yesterday on our riding lawnmower, and i have very fair skin. And stupid me i wore shorts and a sleeveless tee-shirt, now i'm sunburned all over my face, legs, arms and shoulders. I use Noxzima. It really soothes the burns.

Hope that helps.

hot water to help sunburn? I never heard of that. very interesting. anyways, aloe vera is always good but I mostly use solarcaine lotion. That works pretty good. I get my stuff at Walgreens!

Thanks for all the help! I got in the shower last night and I used really hot water and that seemed to help take out most of the stinging. I was going to buy Noxema buti decided to by this other face stuff...my Dad told me to put Noxema on but I dont have any. Oh well, I think its begining to go away. I have on a big cotton tee-shirt-LoL.

You might want to try Vitamin E. Just break the capsule and apply to skin.
