I noticed in the end credits of the episode where Fred unknowingly invites both Donna and the sales lady, Carol to dinner that the actress that portrayed Carol had the same last name as Lynne Hamilton. I was curious if the two were related in some way, does anyone know?

Lynn Hamilton played a landlady in a 1972 episode. And it was definitely the one who played Donna. Was the landlady's name Carol in that episode?

I'm not positive about this, but I don't think they are related. I could be very wrong though.
