Vs. showed that Pearl Jam were able to break the sophomore jinx with a mature album. As great as Ten was, it was getting over-hyped and PJ needed to show they had more potential than writing "grunge-slacker" anthems that the media was so much into capitalizing on. "Glorified G" is on the album, as well as "Go."

It's between Vs. and Ten for me.

After a multitude of listenings, between Ten and Vs. (their best albums in my opinion) I would have to say Vs.

There is some kind of fullness and richness to the album that makes me wish it was with me more than Ten if I pulled out my cd case and saw the words "Pearl Jam."

And, Rearviewmirror and Elderly Woman... are 2 of their best songs - my favorites.

I voted for Vs., but where's No Code? I hated the album at first, but after 7 years it's grown considerably. Very underrated

As far as polls go, I usually only post five albums per band to make it as uncluttered as possible, thus the omissions of "No Code" and "Binaural."
