Ok, here are a few questions I found myself thinking about last night while watching the first season episodes...:

6. If one of the four girls who got cancelled were to have stayed on, which one do you wish it would have been? (Jo would have been there,too)

1. Out of the four characters who were cancelled, which is your favorite?
Sue Ann, She put Blair in her place...I think it would have been funny if she would have remained a member of the cast. But there would be constant chaos between her and Joe when she joined the cast.

2. What is one thing you admire about the 4 main characters on the show?(Nat,Tootie,Blair,Jo)

That through thick and thin they remained friends. How many friendships can you say that about in real life.

3. What is one thing you dislike about each of the 4 main characters on the show?
(Nat,Tootie,Blair,Jo)
Nat-obsessive desire to be Tootie(remember South Pacific
Tootie-her later years on FOL..I liked her..but I missed the rollarskating little girl. She kept saying were in trouble when she was 19 years old or so.
Blair-of course her vanity. Well, that is also a thing that added humor to the show..but sometimes she can be too much
Joe-The bike that was always mentioned and we never saw it..except for the parts Joe was always working on.



4. Mrs. G or Beverly Ann? (why)
Mrs G. hands down...but Bev, grows on you. As the new season starts(the first one I mean) I will miss Bev. Ann.
5. Andy or Pippa? (why)
Andy..Pippa would have been great in the spin off but as an actually cast member in FOL no dice.

6. If one of the four girls who got cancelled were to have stayed on, which one do you wish it would have been? (Jo would have been there,too)
Sue Ann
I wouldn't have wanted the others without each other, but I think SueAnn could have stood her ground. Molly was a little too annoying..Nancy not enough excitement(no offense to the actress but it seems she was always talking to Roger or about him..that's about it.) Cindy--great when she was that age..I just don't know what they would have done with the character.

I am glad to have seen them return to Eastland for the reunion though. I'm only sorry Molly Ringwald couldn't have been there. I bet she had prior commitments.

Natalie: She wasn't afraid to try new things.
Tootie: She was true to her friends
Blair: She wasn't as 'stuck up' as most people with that much money are.
Jo: She stood her ground and always said what was on her mind.

They always stayed friends through thick and then!


3. What is one thing you dislike about each of the 4 main characters on the show?
Natalie: Sometimes let 'bigger' things get in the way of stuff.
Tootie: She always over reacted, but of course that made Tootie Tootie!
Blair: Sometimes showed too much arrogance and was oblivious to other people's problems.

4. Mrs. G or Beverly Ann? (why)
Mrs G! She was there through the most part and really set the girls in the right direction. Bev grows on you though!

5. Andy or Pippa? (why)
Andy! Pippa was ok after a while, but I just prefer Andy.

6. If one of the four girls who got cancelled were to have stayed on, which one do you wish it would have been? (Jo would have been there,too)
Sue Ann! Between her and Jo standing up to Blair there's no telling what could've happened!

Nat--She was determined to become a writer, at whatever cost (She jumped out of a plane for God's sake!)
Tootie--She was always so perky. It got a little annoying, but it was nice to know that when everyone else was down, she was cheerful
Blair--Well, I don't really ADMIRE it, but it is what I like about her. She was oblivious to the world around.
Jo--Um...um... Well, uh.. she was finally able to admit she was friend's with Blair. It took her 7 years, but she got it...

3. What is one thing you dislike about each of the 4 main characters on the show?
(Nat,Tootie,Blair,Jo)

Nat--I dunno. I like everything about Nat! In the first season she was a little annoying, but oh well.
Tootie--She spoke too LOUD the first couple of seasons. She was practically yelling everything.
Blair--I like everything about Blair too..
Jo--Well, she was a little to tough for my taste. It seemed like every other line she spoke was an insult to Blair. In the last couple of seasons it was better.

4. Mrs. G or Beverly Ann? (why)

Beverly Ann. Mrs. G. was a little too nosey.

5. Andy or Pippa? (why)

Andy. Don't get me wrong, I like Pippa. I just like Andy better...


6. If one of the four girls who got cancelled were to have stayed on, which one do you wish it would have been? (Jo would have been there,too)

Cindy. I know I said I liked Nancy better, but I don't really think her character would've worked unless she broke up with Nancy or something. Sue Ann would've been a good choice to keep, too.

I would have to go with Sue Ann
2. What is one thing you admire about the 4 main characters on the show?
Nat: Her determination to become a writer... like others said she was pretty much willing to do anything.
Tootie: true to her friends
Blair: Even though she seemed to only be interested in her looks, she did have a very kind heart that she did manage to use during some episodes.
Jo: Says what she believes... also like the fact that she does not break a promise that she makes.

3. What is one thing you dislike about each of the 4 main characters on the show?
Nat: Will have to get back to you guys on that one.
Tootie: I am going to have to agree with LaverneShirley on this one. I thought she definitely spoke to loud during the first couple seasons. I actually thought I was the only one who noticed that! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif People have told me in the past that I can be to picky at times about stuff like that since I majored in film and want to be a film director so I thought this was one of those times.
Blair: She sometimes acted way to stuck up and at times didn't realize other people had problems as well.
Jo: As others said, in the first few seasons she could be a little too tough and every line was some sort of insult. Yes I liked it, but it got to be too much at times for me.

4. Mrs. G or Beverly Ann? (why)
Beverly Ann has started to grow on me but overall I think I will always like Mrs. G. more. Even though she got to be a little too nosey at times she helped set all the girls in the right direction.

5. Andy or Pippa? (why)
I'll go with Andy on this one. I started to like Pippa after awhile but she seemed out of place at times. If the spinoff had occured with Blair as head mistress, Pippa might have been a good character for that.

6. If one of the four girls who got cancelled were to have stayed on, which one do you wish it would have been? (Jo would have been there,too)
I would take Sue Ann again. I think the combination of her, Blair and Jo could have been interesting.
