I just saw a page on snopes.com regarding the Joanie Loves Chachi "penis" myth. It turns out that no actual data has ever been cited to support such a claim, and the notion that it is true falls flat for a few reasons listed on that page. One of them being that, The only airings within Korea were on the armed Forces Network, and JLC was not aired as programming available to ordinary Korean households.
